Moving her light sweater across her lap, Jada slowly pulled her phone out of her pocket. And from memory, she slowly turned down the screen brightness.

Her friends wanted her to join them to go see some new romcom that just came out. Jada had no interest in the movie at all but her friends had wanted to see it. And to Jada, it felt like it was a repeat of 50 Shades of Grey.

They were sitting at the very back of the theater and Jada didn't feel as bad about pulling out her phone. She turned the brightness all the way down and stuffed it under her sweater so only she could see.

Jada was also disappointed Callie decided not to go. Callie had refused, saying someone had to watch Sofia. And when Jada suggested she could have her dad watch Sofia, Callie turned to saying that Jada should hangout with her friends she hadn't seen in years.

Knowing Callie wasn't going to give in, Jada reluctantly agreed to join her friends for movie night. Sure, she was having a good time, but it would be a great time if Callie was here with her. And Jada would've been the only one bringing her significant other, as the girls decided to have a no boys night as well.

Deciding she didn't want to watch the guy tie down the girl for another round again, Jada decided to text Callie.

"Isn't he hot?" Ashley asked, bumping Jada's shoulder with her own. "Like uhh, that guy is gorgeous."

Jada averted her eyes from looking at the screen. "You know I'm not into guys right?" she teased with a smile in the darkness.

"I know but look at him," Ashley tried to protest. "It's like eight-"

"He is so not hot," Jada replied back slyly, saving herself from whatever else was about to come out of Ashley's mouth. She refused to watch any of the sex scenes but even from watching the movie a little bit, she didn't understand all the hype about the male actor.

"You're difficult," Ashley joked, bumping Jada's arm again. "What do you think Callie would say?"

"Callie would say no faster than I did," Jada answered proudly.

"But didn't you say she's bi?"

"She is, but, we've been together over three years and she has never said a word about finding someone else attractive," Jada bragged.

"You two are so cute," Ashley mumbled under her breath. "There, I said it."

Jada quietly laughed. There was another sex scene coming up, so Ashley's attention was quickly focused back onto the screen. Jada looked down at her phone again and texted Callie.

Baby, how'd Sofia go down? she asked.

A chat bubble immediately popped up. She was so tired, she couldn't even stay awake for a story.

How's the movie? Callie sent in a second text.

It's like actual porn, Jada texted back. So I'm not watching that part.

That's good, Callie replied. I'd hate to see you trying to take notes from a movie.

Calliope!

A few laughing emojis came through from Callie's end.

The girls don't seem to impressed so I think I'm going to stay with what I know. Jada then added, baby, I miss you. I just want you right now.

I'm all yours when you get back, Callie replied. I didn't get Sofia her own suite for nothing.

Jada smiled at that. The little girl had her own literal hotel suite. Her room was so far from her mom's that Callie and Jada brought one of her old baby monitors with them to keep an eye on her.

If I can sneak out to the bathroom and there's nobody in there, can we? Jada asked, not needing to type the rest of her thought. Callie knew what she meant.

"Jada! Stop sexting your girl!" Ashley called out in a quietly emphasized whisper.

"We're not sexting!" Jada was quick to defend.

Ashley looked over at Jada, and even in the dark, Jada could see Ashley rolling her eyes. "You are literally trying to make plans to go have phone sex," Ashley pointed out. "You might be worse than the dude in this movie. Keep it in your freaking pants until you get home."

Both of them softly chuckled. Jada quickly shot Callie a quick text, telling her that Ashley was messing around with her and that she would probably just try to watch the rest of the movie.

"You've gotten so much bolder," Ashley stated.

"Oh, you wouldn't know," Jada replied with a mischievous smile.

Callie was replying to emails on her laptop when Jada got home. She quickly took a shower and when she came out of the bathroom, Callie didn't even notice.

That was, until she felt her arm being lifted up and a head quickly took its place. "Hi."

Jada pushed Callie's arm up even more as she cuddled against her, and set Callie's arm down around her shoulders. "That was smooth, wasn't it?"

Callie looked over and smiled. "Yeah, that was cute."

Jada leaned up and kissed Callie's cheek. "So, whatcha up to?"

"Just answering some emails I need to get caught up on..." Callie replied softly, her voice trailing off when she felt soft lips against her neck.

"And those emails could wait," she muttered. "They're not that important."

Jada's hand clamped her laptop shut before they were both on Callie's face, pulling her in for an intimate kiss.
