Jada was feeling lonely today. Callie was at work and Sofia was with Callie. The little girl had thrown a fit for Jada yesterday and Callie had then offered to take her to work for the day. Michelle was out and about, leaving Jada in the house alone.
And she was anxious too. Jada didn't know what it was, being alone for a while, the new baby, or something she couldn't pinpoint her mind to. She went into the baby's room today for the first time in a while. Callie and Jada began to set up their son's room before he suddenly passed away. Not much was done with the room, and Jada took a few moments to take in the room again, and visualize some decorating ideas she could model on the computer to show Callie.
Standing up from the couch, Jada decided she was going to go out and do something today to get her mind off the boredom. And Jackie was coming too.
"Jackie, come!"
The little dog immediately came to her from his spot beside the toy box where he had been chewing a bone. Heading over to the door, Jada dug out Jackie's vest and put it on him. She was doing good recently, going quite a long time without any anxiety attacks. Since Jada was feeling off today, Jackie was coming along with her.
Jada stuffed her phone into her pocket, grabbed Jackie's leash, and looked for her car keys. She smiled to herself. Callie took her Subaru to work since it had Sofia's car seat in it, leaving Jada the Tesla or the Porsche. Giggling to herself, Jada knew Callie was going to have something to say when she saw the dog hair in one of the nice cars.
Her eyes wandered to the third set of car keys beside the Ducati's keys that hadn't been touched in a while. As much as she wanted to, she couldn't. Instead of finishing the job herself, Callie had someone finish restoring her 1957 Ford Thunderbird that was given to her by her grandparents. The thing didn't see the outdoors unless there wasn't a cloud in sight. It was drizzling today and Callie would be irate if it was out in the rain, and if there was even one dog hair inside.
Jada hadn't earned the privilege to drive the Thunderbird yet. Callie looked like she was going to have an aneurysm the one day when Jada was just sitting in the drivers seat. But Jada understood her wife's fretting over the car. While it didn't need much restoration, Callie's grandparents would always take her places in it. It served as happy memories about her family for Callie.
Clipping Jackie's leash onto his collar, Jada grabbed the Tesla keys. The Tesla keys, that consisted of only the house key. Heading out to the garage, Jada quickly threw one of the dog hammocks in the backseat. That way, she at least tried to control the dog hair.
The dog hair drove Callie nuts. There wasn't a day that went by where Callie didn't run the vacuum at least once. Jada joked around with her wife and said Callie seemed more married to the vacuum then she did to Jada. She was quickly rewarded with a smack of the vacuum hose to the ass.
Jada let Jackie jump into the backseat before pressing the button that would close his door. She then climbed into the drivers seat. Jada had no idea where she wanted to go, just that she wanted to do something.

After a little while of driving, Jada found herself at the mall. She really didn't know why she had driven to the mall, but decided she would shop around to find something cute for her wife. Callie had been so amazing. And of course, Callie was always amazing, and Jada wanted to get something cute as a little 'thank you' to her amazing wife.
