"Okay, tell me why you're talking to Luke so much?" Jada jokingly teased her sister. "This whole thing is just weird to me." Stifling a giggle, she added, "Luke is my wife's ex-boyfriend. Like, how does that sound?"

Both Jada and Grace laughed together. "My sister is talking to my wife's ex-boyfriend. You can't make this shit up."

"How did you survive Callie having a boyfriend?" Grace asked, taking the opportunity to poke some fun at her sister.

"I didn't," Jada replied with a smile. "I showed up in Seattle one day, got Callie back, and then screwed her so much that she couldn't even think of going after him."

"And is that why you're having me stay downstairs like Mom? So I can't hear you two screwing each others brains out every night?" Grace asked with a wide smile.

"That might be part of it," Jada admitted.

"How does Sofia not hear it?" Grace questioned. "Her room is on the other side of the loft but like... how doesn't Arizona hear it either?"

"We are not that loud!"

Grace just glared at Jada. "Sure you aren't."

"I can't wait for Mom to have the talk with you," Jada began. "One day she sat me down and told me she could hear Callie and I, and when I freaked out, she gave me a lecture on how sex is good for you and stuff like that. And after all that, her point was to keep having sex. So, I'm going to keep having sex with my wife until I have this baby."

"That was way too much information."

"Hey, you brought up Luke," Jada replied. "And don't tell me you aren't thinking of that. Your mouth says one thing but your face says another."

"Okay-"

"Just tell me about him," Jada encouraged. "I'm just curious."

"I've only been talking to him for a few days and he's already more caring than Jordan ever could be. It's the simple things that get me. He's invested, if you know what I mean. He takes the time to text back quickly and he takes the time to answer fully and not just a single word like some guys do. He's really cute, and he's just... not an asshole like Jordan."

Jada smiled. "I was just interested," she prefaced. "I've never been attracted to guys ever in my life."

"Not at all?"

Shaking her head, Jada answered, "I knew I was gay way before you and Mom figured out I was gay."

Grace slowly nodded in agreement. "I'm sorry that I made you feel like you couldn't be yourself," she said quietly. "I know you keep yelling at me to stop apologizing but I'm never going to not apologize for how I treated you."

"Grace, it's okay," Jada reassured her sister. "But, I know Luke is a really nice guy. I know he'll treat you right. You just have to think, if something happens between you two, and you have to go back overseas..."

"I know," Grace finished for Jada. "I've got some deciding to do. I finished my service that I signed for and I got offered a promotion. I haven't signed for that promotion yet, I was planning on doing that after my vacation."

"I thought you said you got the promotion?"

"I did," Grace answered. "I haven't signed it and officially re-enlisted."

"Take some time off," Jada said softly. "And follow your heart. You've served for what, 13 years now? Going on 14?"

"I have."

"I'm not going to tell you what to do, but I'll tell you that you've made Mom and I proud. And you've made your country proud."

"Thank you."

Jada smiled softly at her sister. "I sometimes think how lucky I am that you, and people like you are over there keeping us safe. You're the reason that my wife and I, and our daughter can sleep safely every night."

"Daughters," Grace corrected.

"Our daughters," Jada corrected herself as well. "I'm sure Baby Torres will make an appearance while Aunt Grace is here."

"Mom has to be going nuts again?" Grace asked.

"Like you wouldn't believe. You're welcome for having kids first. I took the pressure off of you."

"You think she's done with that?"

Jada nodded. "She wanted at least one grandkid and she has Sofia. Pretty soon she's going to have two granddaughters."

"You and Callie can have fun with that," Grace teased with a smile.

"Oh shut up, I know how much you get baby fever," Jada shot back. "You're not going to know what to do with yourself."

"I'll tell you and Callie to keep making them so I don't have to."
