"Calliope, no going to bed yet," Jada said, pulling the covers off her wife.

"Why?" Callie complained. "I'm exhausted and it's getting late."

"Because I said so," Jada answered firmly. "Sit up."

Callie groaned and let her head flop back down onto the pillow. "Babe," she muttered into the pillow.

Jada reached over to the nightstand and into the top drawer. Digging around, she found the small box that contained the necklaces she had been looking for.

"Calliope, look at me."

With another groan, Callie pushed herself up and into a sitting position against the pillow. "Cut it out with the whining," Jada teased.

"But, babe!"

"Baby, I got you something today," Jada told her wife, hoping the revelation would get her attention.

"You got me something?"

"I did," Jada answered as she turned around to face Callie with the box in hand.

"I already have enough rings," Callie stated.

"I know. And that's why it's not a ring." Jada then added as she leaned over to press her forehead against Callie's, "Plus, the most important one is already on your finger. There's no way I could ever top that."

Leaning in, Jada softly pressed her lips against Callie's. "I love you, Calliope."

"I love you too," Callie replied softly.

"I am so in love with you," Jada continued. "There is nothing stronger in this world than my love for you."

"And every day, I fall more and more in love with you. I didn't think it was possible to fall for you harder than I already have. Every day, I find myself falling more in love with you."

"I promised my heart and my life to you, but here's my promise that my love for you will only continue to grow stronger and stronger."

Jada opened the box to reveal two sterling floating heart necklaces. The design was simple, yet elegant. The necklaces were exactly the same down to every feature, except one was silver and one was gold.

"Take your pick, Calliope."

"I want the silver," Callie quickly answered.

"Are you sure?"

She nodded. "Yeah, I want you to have the gold. Gold represents the best, and falling in love with you was the best thing to ever happen to me."

"These are beautiful," Callie then said. "They're so elegant yet so simple."

"These were the first ones the guy at the jewelry store showed me," Jada explained as she closed the box and set the necklaces back on the nightstand. "And I knew those were the ones."

"He and I had such similar taste it was cool," Jada told her wife. "He showed me so many options and we said the same thing about every single one of them."

"Aww, does my sweetheart have her first boy crush?" Callie teased with a daring smile.

Jada rolled her eyes. "He's gay," she teased in reply. "He was showing me pictures of the matching necklaces he got for his boyfriend that are pretty similar to ours."

She continued. "But, if I wasn't gay and he didn't have a boyfriend, he would be my type."

"I don't think I could ever see you with a boyfriend," Callie admitted.

"You're right," Jada nodded in agreement. "I am gay. Like super gay. I'm gayer than gay. Lesbianic."

They both giggled. "Yeah, Jaelynn, you are."
