"Mom, would you be able to take me to the doctor today after you drop off Sofia?"

"Who's going to watch Riley?" Michelle asked. "I can take you but I don't think it's a good idea to be taking her into the doctors office at this age other than when she has to."

"I agree," Jada said. "I wonder if Arizona is at work? I haven't seen her this morning and I know Grace went to breakfast with Luke."

"Where's Callie?"

"She went into work for a few hours," Jada answered.

"Can't you see her?"

"I don't want to," Jada was quick to respond.

When Michelle looked at her quizzically, Jada took a deep breath and began to explain. "I had sex with Callie yesterday," Jada told her mom. "Like, real sex. She penetrated me-"

"She-"

"Mom, it's not Callie's fault," Jada quickly defended. "It was me-it was all me and I told her to do it. I more like made her do it."

"Callie is not to be blamed because I made her do it," Jada added.

"You know that's not good for you this soon after having a baby?"

Jada nodded in defeat. "I know. But everything hurts and I'm starting to look like I'm on my period. I need to go get looked at." After a quick breath, Jada said, "I don't want Callie to know if possible. She's going to blame herself, I know she will. And it's not her fault. I pressured her into it and she tried to tell me no but I wore her down."

Michelle shook her head. "You need to be careful."

"Mom, I know," Jada said softly. "It's been three and a half weeks since I had real sex with my wife. I was never going to last six."

"You might've pushed your recovery time even longer after that."

Although her midsection was really starting to hurt, Jada would do that again with Callie in a heartbeat. Because yesterday... yesterday was just awesome.

"See if Arizona is here or not," Michelle told her daughter. "Maybe she can take you and I can watch Riley or I can take you and she can watch Riley."

"Okay," Jada pulled out her phone to text Arizona.

"I would take you," Michelle began. "But being around us both in that office or after, we don't need to risk it."

"You're right," Jada agreed. "Getting either of the girls sick is not an option."

This was something that never in a million years would Jada believe was happening. She was in the car with Arizona, on her way to the doctors office to get her vagina looked at from having penetrative sex with Callie too early. Arizona was currently driving her past partners new partner to deal with a sex injury.

You couldn't make this shit up.

Thankfully, the awkwardness of the situation did not carry into their conversation. "So, why don't you want Callie to know?" Arizona asked.

"She's going to beat my ass," Jada answered immediately with a laugh.

"That she will."

"But, I know she's going to blame herself for hurting me even though I was the one who made her do it. She's going to go on about how she should've listened to herself and all that."

"That sounds just like Callie. You know because you married it, but she has some stellar skills."

"She really does," Jada said with a smile. "I would do it again in a heartbeat."

"You know," Arizona began. "I used to kick myself everyday for what I did to her. I would stay up late, cry myself to sleep, and I couldn't function. I hated myself for years because of what I did. I'll admit, I didn't want to like you," she said. "Because you stood in between myself and Callie. You did what I couldn't. You let her in and you let her be there for you and love you even when you didn't love yourself."

"As much as I didn't want to like you, I saw how loved she was, and still is, with you. You love her how she deserves to be loved, in a way I never could. She still means the world to me and I know that you and your girls are her whole world."

"Just promise me that you'll continue to take care of her. She'll say she doesn't need it, but she does. She's wanted what you helped give her for years. I know she refuses to show it, but inside she's just like us, and promise me that you'll continue to take care of her. Promise me that you'll always be her home."

Jada wiped a few tears off her cheeks. "I will, I promise."

When Jada and Arizona returned home, Callie was already home from work. The appointment had taken longer than expected and Jada was
given pain medication and strict orders for no penetration whatsoever.

"Hey, what were you two up to?" Callie asked as she delivered a plate to Sofia at the kitchen table. "I made chicken piccata for dinner if you're hungry."

"Yes please," Arizona said before heading into the kitchen to fill a plate for herself.

"Arizona and I went for a little ride this afternoon," Jada said, hoping that would be enough and Callie would drop it. And, it wasn't technically a lie. They took a ride, to Jada's doctors office.

"Oh yeah?" Callie asked, grabbing a plate once Arizona was finished. "Where to?"

"We went downtown."

"And when you were downtown, you didn't happen to stop at the doctor's office did you?"

Jada's face went red and she had nothing to say other than to look embarrassed. "How... how do-do you know I was there?" she stammered.

"Meg texted me and asked if we were still together," Callie answered. "Because we always go together."

"Well, of course we're still together! Why wouldn't we be together?"

"I always go to your appointments with you," Callie said flatly. "So, you gonna tell me why you didn't want to talk to me about it?"

"Because I know you're going to blame yourself when I pressured you and I made you do it."

"Babe, I trust you," Callie said softly. "You know your body better than I do. Yeah, I probably should've listened to myself, but you know what your body can and can't do."

"I still want to be intimate with you."

Callie nodded. "I know. I do too. We're going to talk about it when we go to bed so we can still be intimate, and keep you from hurting yourself again."

Jada stepped closer to Callie and planted a soft kiss on the corner of her lips. "I always love going to bed with you."
