Jada headed down the hallway and toward Callie's office. Her mom had Sofia and Arizona was at work so Jada was nearly home alone. Callie had been working in her office from home for a few hours. Jada decided that Callie had been working enough and she sought out the comfort and company of the brunette.

"Hi baby," Jada said happily as she pushed open the barely cracked open door that was left ajar.

"Hey," Callie's face lit up with a smile.

"Whatcha doing?" Jada asked innocently as she crossed the office to stand right in front of Callie's chair, blocking her view of her computer.

"Responding to emails and setting up virtual consults. What's up?"

"I want attention," Jada said, trying her best to pout but failing. A small smile was tugging at each corner of her lips.

Callie's sure hands were on her hips and Jada felt herself being led to sit on Callie's lap in her chair. She didn't know how she was going to get her pregnant body comfortably on Callie and the chair, but she was going to try.

Once Jada had managed to comfortably seat herself atop Callie, Callie moved the chair towards the desk and threw her feet up onto the desk. She bent her knees behind Jada's back and allowed her to use them as a backrest.

"What kind of attention would you like?" Callie asked with a smile.

"I want to cuddle, baby," Jada replied.

"That sounds really nice right now," Callie admitted.

The weather had been crappy the last few days. Seattle had nothing other than rain and thunderstorms. Jada didn't know what it was about the rainy weather, but when it wasn't snowing, she really loved to cuddle when it was raining.

"Let's go," Jada said as she allowed Callie to help her to her feet. Once she was up and stable, she pulled Callie out of the chair and led her out of her office and into the hallway. Normally, Jada would've opted for the reclining chair in the living room, but she pulled Callie in the direction of the small sitting room where she would often play video games.

As they both sat down, Jada reached onto the back of the couch to grab a blanket. She threw it over herself and Callie before leaning right up against Callie's chest. "Baby, I forgot to remind you," she began.

"Remind me what?"

"Grace is flying in tomorrow for her two month vacation. And I was wondering if it would be okay if she stayed with us again for a little longer?"

Callie leaned over and pressed a gentle kiss to Jada's cheek. "You know she's always welcome."

"I know, but I-"

"Babe, you don't need to clear it with me," Callie explained softly. "She's your sister. Of course she's welcome."

"I know. I just didn't want to invite her in without talking to you first."

"We have enough bedrooms," Callie teased with a smile.

"Where do you want her to stay?"

"I don't know."

"The guest bedroom next to my office?" Callie asked. "She can have more space to herself and hopefully not hear us."

Jada laughed. "That's a smart idea."
