Waiter: good evening mam, table for one?
Crystal: uhm no I'm actually meeting someone
Waiter: okay right this way please -gives her the menu- I'll give you a few minutes to go through the menu
Crystal: thanks -checks her watch-
It's 6:05 p.m and Josh is nowhere near in sight, she contemplates unblocking him but she decides against it.
Her phone rings...
~Phonecall~
Devale: hey, is he there yet?
Crystal: nope! He's disrespectful asf for telling me to be on time yet he's late. I'm telling you D, if this nigga ain't here by 6:15 I'm leaving
Devale: yeah, so uhm what's the plan?
Crystal: [sighs] idk but I think it'll come to me as he tells me he wants
Devale: [scoffs] we already know what he wants though
Crystal: we do?
Devale: Crys don't play with me!!! We both know that he wants you back, please just make sure you don't fall for his demands
Crystal: -mocking him- and what if I want him back too? I mean I'm a single woman after all
Devale: [sucks teeth] I've actually been meaning to talk to you about changing that
Crystal: there's no time like the present
Devale: I'm gonna file for di-
Crystal: [whispers] he's here, gotta go *hangs up*
Josh: hey, thanks for coming and sorry I'm late. I had to find a sitter for Amaka
Crystal: it's cool, so what's this about?
Josh: [smiles] you look really beautiful
Crystal: [bored] thanks but I didn't come here for compliments so what's up?
Josh: [smirks] let's order something to drink first -waves to the waiter-
Waiter: evening sir, may I take your drinks order?
Josh: [smiles] I'll let the lady decide
Crystal: -silent- [rolls eyes]
Josh: [smirks] can we get a bottle of your best wine and 2 glasses please
Waiter: coming right up *walks away*
Crystal: [sighs] Joshua I didn't come here for this, please get to the point so I can go on about my night
Josh: and what does that entail? Jumping back in bed with that nigga Devale?
Crystal: no! And just so we're clear, it's not your business who I get down with- I'm not your girl anymore!
Josh: [smirks] trust me, after I say what I got to say that's gonna change!
Waiter: [brings the wine]
Josh: -pours two glasses and gives Crystal one-
Crystal: no thanks, I'm not drinking tonight. This water will be just fine!
Josh: okay suit yourself, but if I were you I'd keep the glass nearby because you're gonna need a drink after I present my ultimatum
Crystal: if you don't start talking I swear I'm walking outta here! I'm not with the back and forth
