The two of them sat in a Rolls-Royce. The driver was Jungkook’s chauffeur, Suho.
Lisa glanced at Suho from the backseat.
He had once been bribed by Eunha. Now that Eunha was sentenced to lifetime imprisonment, she wondered about his thoughts.
That night when Eunha had schemed against her at the Dan Feng Bai Lu Hotel, Suho had informed her that Jungkook would arrive home a day earlier from his business trip.
Speaking of which, he had yet to deal with this disloyal thing.
She had stopped Jungkook and told him not to be hasty about this.
This was because they had yet to find the person who tried to secretly murder Jungkook more than a year ago.
That person must be aware that Jungkook was investigating him. Since then, he did not reappear again.

The Rolls-Royce drove into an enormous and luxurious Chinese-style manor. There were various stunning and expensive flowers planted on both sides of the road.
As the car came to a stop, a helper immediately opened the car door respectfully.
Jungkook alighted the car with Lisa.
A row of helpers were waiting respectfully. They immediately bowed and greeted them in unison. “Welcome, Young Master and Miss Lee!”
In their previous life, they had not been greeted this warmly. She turned to him in confusion. “Jungkook?”
“This way, you’ll know with certainty that the Jeon family always values you.” He did not have much expression on his cold and stern face.
Nonetheless, she keenly felt his love. She smiled slightly.
She scanned the surroundings. The Jeon family’s old mansion’s front yard was decorated with a modern, Chinese-style approach. There were beautiful flora and fauna, accompanied with a rock garden. A gentle stream flowed through the rocks to fall into an enormous manmade lake. It made for a stunning sight.
The Chinese-style buildings were decorated with carefully crafted tiles. Every single tile appeared unique and stunning. The overall image it left was imposing!
With one glance, it was clear that the owner of this home was especially noble and out of the ordinary.
Jungkook brought Lisa through the front yard. Due to his stern disposition, he did not introduce her to the Jeon family’s mansion’s design and sights.
This was of no significance. She had been husband and wife with him for more than ten years, and had also spent quite some time living here. She was extremely comfortable with this place.
However, as everyone believed this was her first visit, she took care not to appear too familiar.
The two of them approached a pavilion and sat down on the stone seats. A helper immediately brought a platter of fruits and desserts forward. She placed it down on the stone table.
“I have to leave for a while.” Jungkook caressed Lisa’s hair gently. His voice was warm. “Wait here for me obediently.”
“En.” She nodded slightly and watched as he left.
In her previous life, the same thing had happened.
Although he returned within ten minutes, in the short time he was away, she met Nancy. Under Nancy's ill-intended guidance, she misrecognized the Jeon family’s butler to be the Jeon family’s elder and addressed a butler as ‘Grandfather’.
What made this worse was that Jungkook, along with his parents and Elder Jeon, had come there right at this moment and witnessed her humiliation.
She was thoroughly mortified and believed Jungkook had left intentionally to embarrass her.
She had hated him to death at that moment and lost control. She had ended up insulting Grandfather Jeon as an old peasant.
