Nancy’s thoughts drifted here and there. She watched as Jungkook took considerable care of Lisa. In contrast, she had just been reprimanded by Jeon Chongshan. She instantly lost her appetite.
She wanted to leave the dining table. However, she did not have the courage to do so while the seniors were still present.
After finishing his dinner, Jungkook quietly handed a small, exquisite square box to Lisa beneath the table.
Lisa turned to him with wide, shining and confused eyes.
Jungkook leaned close to her. His frozen, cold heart was somewhat apprehensive, yet he appeared cold and indifferent on the surface. He asked lightly. “Will you agree to it?”
Lisa was confused. “What?”
“The thing I handed to you earlier. Do you agree to accept it?”
“En.” She nodded.
Jungkook watched as she nodded. He could not conceal the smile on his face. He then seriously announced. “Since everyone is present, I will announce some good news. There is an auspicious day in two weeks’ time. My wedding with Lisa will be arranged on that day.”
“Isn’t that too fast?” Nancy reacted without thinking and was taken aback when she noticed that the elders were looking at her coldly.
Huang Zhishu also understood that her daughter had acted out of line. She rushed to reprimand. “The Jeon family’s elders haven’t even said a word. As a junior, you shouldn’t be speaking out of line.”
Nancy’s complexion was slightly pale. “Mom, I meant to say that Cousin’s wedding is a serious matter. I’m afraid that two weeks won’t be enough time to prepare for it.”
Lisa was also dumbstruck.
In their previous life, Jungkook had forcefully brought her to have their marriage registered. He did not announce this matter in front of everyone. Considering her attitude at the time, she guessed that he was probably afraid she would object if he had said it first.

Jeon Chongshan expressed his opinion. “Jungkook is already twenty-six this year. Lisa is also twenty years old now. It’s time you both married. It would be best if you gave me my grandchildren soon.”
“There’s no need for you to worry about that.” Jungkook looked at his fiancée lovingly. “Lisa and I have our own plans.”
He did not agree to it in case Lisa was unwilling to have his children…
At the thought of this possibility, he subconsciously frowned. He then quickly distracted himself from that thought. Perhaps, she would be agreeable to it?
“What do you mean by that?” Jeon Chongshan’s expression instantly turned cold. “It’s only appropriate that you have my great grandchildren soon! Of course, the Jeon family has to take its face into consideration. Pregnancy before marriage is not something to boast about. There’s only two weeks before the wedding… Even if my future granddaughter-in-law conceived right now, no one would be able to tell if this happened before or after the wedding.”
“Grandfather, I’m not pregnant right now.” Lisa spoke shyly. “We’ll take up this matter slowly. Of course, if I do conceive, I’ll definitely keep the baby.”
Jeon Chongshan was rather satisfied with this answer and nodded sternly.
Jungkook’s frozen heart was overwhelmed with joy. In other words, Lisa was willing to have his child!
