755.Search Operation

"I'll go look for him. There's something more important for you to do." Lisa's tone was firm. "Look for two individuals to impersonate as my father, Marco Brushweiler, and the Brushweiler Group's director, Jingyuan Brushweiler. Then, arrange for them to be transferred to a different hospital. Be wary of Nancy. That woman is capable of hypnosis. If I'm not wrong, she will attempt to hypnotise a doctor or a nurse to murder the two of them. They are in danger and you are the only person who can guarantee their safety. I won't be able to set my heart at ease if I leave them to someone else."

"I can promise you that." Mark frowned, "But..."

"I promise that your boss will return safe and sound."

Mark faltered for a moment. He was very surprised that Lisa actually knew that the person behind Hei Xiao was Jungkook. Based on her tone, it seemed like she had already known of this matter for quite some time.

Did Boss tell her about it? But... didn't he say to keep this a secret?

Did he reveal the truth without even informing him?

After ending the call, Lisa arranged for a hundred bodyguards to travel towards Huang Long Slope via twenty helicopters.

She sent another hundred bodyguards to travel by car to search for Jungkook along Huang Long Slope.

Thankfully, Jungkook doted on her dearly and had once declared that all his subordinates alongside the business he owned needed to be absolutely obedient to her.

Lisa sat in one of the helicopters and used a set of binoculars to look here and there.

On their way, they had found several corpses in the forest located at the slope.

She was extremely tense from her anxiety.

"Jungkook, you have to be safe!" She felt as though her blood was about to rush out of her skin due to worry.

Half of the helicopters landed in the spacious areas of the forest.

The other half remained in the air. If they located any enemies, they would immediately shoot them down.

Lisa alighted as well and was about to instruct the bodyguards to begin searching for Jungkook, when her phone rang.

The screen indicated that it was a call from Jungkook. She immediately answered.

"My wife, I met with a small problem earlier. I'm sorry I ended our call." Jungkook's cold, heavy voice was apologetic. "I only managed to find time to call you now that the problem is solved."

Lisa finally relaxed after hearing his voice. "Jungkook, where are you right now?"

"In front of you." Jungkook leaped off of a nearby tree and landed firmly on the ground. His figure was powerful and strong, and his white dress shirt and black pants were covered in blood. It appeared as though the King of Hell himself had ascended.

The dark, early morning sky caused him to appear especially cold. All the bodyguards present there could not help a shiver.

Lisa rushed towards the blood-covered Jungkook. She stopped before him and asked urgently. "Are you injured?"

"I'm alright." He took in her joyful expression. It seemed like she was especially happy that he had made it out alive.

But she did not believe him. "But you're covered in blood..."

"It belongs to the assassins who ambushed me." A hint of murderous intent flashed past Jungkook's sharp gaze. "This time I eliminated twelve assassins in one go."

Lisa scanned him carefully. Aside from appearing exhausted, he truly did not seem to be injured. She finally rushed into his arms. "Thank god you're fine!"

Jungkook was covered in blood from his earlier battle. If this had been in the past, she definitely would have found him dirty.

Right now, however, she was trembling in his arms.

His frigid, frozen heart was slowly enveloped by warmth.
