"What have you been eating for the past few days? Which hotel are you staying at? Do you have enough clothes with you?" She tried her best to look for topics to talk about.
"I still have something to take care of later. Let's not discuss these meaningless things." Sehun's tone was indifferent. "Do you have anything else to say?"
She sensed his cold attitude and tolerated the bitterness in her heart but maintained a light tone. "Come back soon."
"I understand." He was about to end the call when she rushed to say. "Wait."
His tone turned impatient. "What else is there?"
"Take good care of yourself." Her voice conveyed her deep feelings for him. "Hubby, I'm waiting for you at home."
With that, she ended the call.
On the other end, Sehun stared at his phone and was dazed for a long time.
He was an orphan. Although his adopted parents had doted on him dearly, he always felt that he did not have a proper place to return to.
She said she would be waiting for him at home.
Those words moved his heart deeply. He was someone who lacked love and her words made him feel warm.
At the Hong Sheng District, Tzuyu ended the call and sat down on the living room couch.
The part-time helper, Gao Ru, was working on the chores. She came into the living room and said, "Madam, the sheet in the closet hasn't been washed for nearly two years. The weather is good today. Should I take it out for a wash?"
A hint of curiosity flashed past Tzuyu's eyes. "What sheet?"
"The bedsheet in the top left corner of the closet. The Young Master took care to store it there and instructed me not to touch it."
Before she could finish speaking, Tzuyu walked into the main bedroom. Her slippers brushed against the floor as she reached for the closet doors. She opened it and looked toward the top left corner. All she saw was a cotton quilt. "I don't see any sheet?"
"I'll retrieve it for you." Gao Ru brought a chair over. She stood on the chair and shifted the quilt aside. As expected, a neatly folded bed sheet was hidden right behind it.
Tzuyu received it in confusion. "Why is a bedsheet hidden so well?"
She then shook the bedsheet open. To her astonishment, there was a patch of blood stain on it. "This..."
Considering that it was stained on a bedsheet, it was either from a woman's period or a woman's first time.
She recalled the night she slept with Sehun in the Fang Villa. At the time, the sheets had been white, unlike the one she was holding which were light blue.
It wasn't her blood. In that case...
Tzuyu's gaze turned heavy. She glanced towards Gao Ru. "Auntie Gao, do you know where the blood came from?"
Gao Ru lowered her head and hesitated. "I... I'm just a helper. It isn't right for me to say too much."
"Go ahead and tell me."
"Madam, I'm telling you this because you're a really good person and I don't want you to be tricked." Gao Ru appeared to have gathered her resolve before she began speaking. "It was nearly two years ago. On that particular day, Mr. Fang was drunk. Miss Lee Lalisa came by to accompany him. The two of them..."
Tzuyu frowned. "Wait, you personally saw them together?"
"No."
"In that case, don't use such ambiguous words." A hint of unhappiness flashed past Tzuyu's expression.
Gao Ru rushed to explain further. "It's like this. Mr. Fang had been drunk that day when Miss Lee came by. I was coincidentally on leave and only rushed over when Miss Lee called for me to come take care of him. After Mr. Lee woke up, I found this bedsheet. At the time, I even reminded Mr. Lee that he needed to take responsibility for a girl's first time. He told me that he would. I swear, if I'm lying, I'll definitely be struck by lightning!"
Tzuyu's expression turned complex. A moment later, she spoke indifferently. "Alright.. Fold the sheet and return it back to its place."
