Hers~>
Ramadan is tomorrow and I'm so excited. Samir and Amannah told me that I was always the one who enjoyed Ramadan the most in the family. Maybe it's because of the food or the way everyone gathered together but I'm not sure.
"Make sure you get the double cream. I wanna make some milk cake for tomorrow Noori." Amannah reminds me on the phone, before me and Neha leave the mosque.
"Why don't you tell your husband to get it for you?" I ask jokingly.
"He's not my husband yet Noori!" She replies.
"Sure girl." I respond, before hanging up.
I quickly shove my phone in my bag, making sure I don't displace it.
I really need to stop forgetting my phone.
"Who was that?" Neha asks, unlocking her car.
"Amannah asking for double cream." I reply, getting into the passenger seat.
"Ohh, I need to get some ice and some stuff as well I'll come too." She responds, before buckling her seatbelt.
"Ice?" I ask confused.
Why would she need ice?
"Uh yeah umm for the drinks." Neha says quietly before pulling out of the parking lot.
"Oh alright." I reply hesitantly.
There's something she's hiding from me. I don't know what but I'm gonna find out.
20 minutes later and we arrive at Asda. I'm well knackered but I can't lie I want some ramen for sehri.
"I'll get the ice and you go get your double cream." Neha says while grabbing a basket.
"Alright, I'll go get ramen though so come there after." I reply with a nod.
"Okay Noor." She replies, walking to the other side of the shop.
I start making my way for the cream and ramen, omd I'm so hungry for ramen right now and I'm not even fasting.
I spot the double cream and quickly grab it, but turn around to only slam myself into a hard surface.
"Shit-" I call out, realising the cream tub has splattered all across the person's chest.
Crap-
This is bad.
Wait who the hell is this.
I slowly look up to the person staring back at me with wide eyes and register who I just slammed into.
"Noor?" Mason questions, surprised.
"Mason?" I ask back.
"Well I guess this shirt is soaked." He says, looking down at himself.
"Shit I'm so sorry about that." I quickly say, getting a tissue out my bag and attempt to clean it.
Wait-
What am I doing?
I quickly stop trying to clean it and hand him the pack of tissues from the hand.
"Umm here." I say, looking down at my feet.
"Thanks." Mason replies, with a small smile.
"I can pay for the dry cleaning if the stain doesn't come out-" I tell him, not allowing myself to stop.
Why are you saying this Noor?
Girl you are broke as hell right now. What are you doing? I think to myself.
