"Khalil, her memory came back!" My little sister squealed as everyone else was celebrating in the house.

Elias, Haadi and myself were in the house as my sister was panting as she told us the news with Neha trailing behind her.

"Say Wallah!" Elias said, as I felt myself smile for the first time since Noor's accident.

"Khalil? You alright, bro?" Haadi asked, putting a hand on my shoulder.

"She got her memory back, Haadi. My gir- Noor's okay." I replied while Haadi mirrored my smile.

"Haadi? I was hoping you or Khalil could drop us off." Hala called out, walking upto us.

Haadi looked to the doorway with Neha standing and playing with her fingers. "Uh- yeah sure I can."

"Do you want to come with?" Hala said, smiling.

"Nah I think I'll stay here. I need to sort a few things out." I replied, the grin never leaving my face.

"Hmm...okay I guess." She said, laughing.

The three of them all left moments later, leaving me gathering my thoughts.

"Well?" Elias asked, leaning on the kitchen counter next to me.

"Well, what?" I questioned, looking to him with confusion.

"Well something has to be really important for you to sort out, if you're really not going to see how she is." He replied, with a knowing look.

I nodded my head, thinking how out of touch I was with myself before I came back.

If someone was to ask me if I would ever get married, I would simply answer 'no.' But that all changed since the day I realised my feelings for her were beyond a simple friendship.

"Elias, I'm- I want to ask for her hand in marriage tomorrow." I said, making his eyes widen.

"FINALLY! It's about time!" He replied, hugging me tight. Very tight.

"Elias! You big donkey!" I shouted, pulling his body off of mine.

"Well how else do you want me to react to my bsf getting married?" He asked, sarcastically.

"Okay, but I don't even know if she's going to accept. All I know is that she could hate me, now that her memory's back." I replied, scratching my beard.

"I doubt that. But if you really think that's the case I think you should talk to her to see how she's feeling. I mean she only realised today that you're not a total stranger and that you're back after 5 years." Elias said.

"Yeah, I'll talk to her before. I still need to apologise for how I was in the past." I replied, nodding.

"Alright, go text her then you big sap." He said, laughing.

"We'll see how you're like when you get married, Elias." I called out whilst walking to my room for my phone.

I heard Elias laughing as I shut my door and began clicking on Instagram, thinking of something to text the only girl who ever had me blind with my feelings.
