Sliding his hand over her back and landing on her hip in its usual place, Dean guides her to the Impala and away from the vehicle he begrudgingly helped her pack. Mae smiles up at him in excitement and for the first time she reciprocates his movement and slips her arm across his lower back.

Grinning wildly at her, he quickly places a kiss on her forehead. "Ready to go?"

"I can't wait to see what you have planned!" She gushes. "Can I get a tiny hint of what's to come?"

"All will be revealed in good time." He replies vaguely, walking a little slower, so he can relish the feeling of her arm around him a bit longer.

Leaning forward he opens the passenger side door for her and gestures for her to enter. She slides in and goes to shut the door but Dean is already closing it slowly, making sure she's wholly and safely in the car. Quick as a flash he dashes over to the driver's side door, hops in, and starts the car.

The Impala springs to life with the familiar, low grumbling noise and after putting it into gear, Dean pauses before pulling forward to reach over and take her hand in his. He gives her an adorable smirk, while rubbing circles on the back of her hand, then reluctantly turns his attention back towards the front. Both are nearly floating above the front seat in excitement, as they set off on their first date.

Pulling into a spot in a parking lot about twenty some minutes later, Dean looks over to see her reaction. "What do you think?"

"Interesting choice, but totally you!" She replies beaming at him but then her face goes serious. "But is the food good?"

"Oh yeah! I wouldn't bring you here if it wasn't."

"Probably won't be as good as your breakfast."

She turns to exit the car, but he squeezes her hand. "Wait here."

Dazzling her with one of his classic Dean Winchester grins, he raises her hand to his lips for a kiss before getting out of the driver's side door. He walks quickly around to her side and opens the door for her, holding out his hand to help her out of the car.

Taking his hand, she gets out with a smile. "Wow, look at you with the old school polite manners, very date-like of you."

"Well, that's what I'm going for." He says with a slight blush.

"You're successful so far."

With a sweet smirk she snakes her arm across his lower back, settling her hand on his side, causing him to smile even wider. He pulls her flush up to his side by her hip and begins to saunter off towards the door. The pair enter the building and instantly the smell of food, beer, and pine surrounds them.

Leading her over to a high top table, he grins at her. "I figured we'd have some food and then a little competition, if you want."

"Oh you're on, Winchester, but be prepared to lose."

"We'll see about that, I come here often." He places a kiss on top of her head before pulling out her chair.

"That may be true." She sits down and looks smugly up at him. "But I'm pretty accurate."

He opts for the closest chair to her, settles on it, and hands her a menu. "I'd love to see that."

"So what's good, any suggestions?" She asks, taking the menu.

"Basically everything, you can't go wrong."

"Ooh, they have ribs! I'm getting those."

"The ribs are awesome. In fact, I think I'll get them, too."
