Chapter Forty Five

"WHAT?" I whispered and gently pushed Seamus away from me. Naguguluhang tinignan ko siya dahil sa sinabi niya sa'kin. "What do you mean, Seamus? I don't understand."

"I know this is unbelievable but I will give you answers to all your questions, all right?" he said and held my cheek. "But please, keep this in mind. Don't trust anyone. Don't trust the people around you."

"H-hindi ko naiintindihan. Please, explain it to me. How can you be so sure that I'm related to you? What do you know? Tell me."

"I will tell you everything you need to know but not in this place, okay?" sagot niya na kinatango ko. "I'm sorry for what I did lately. May mga rason ako doon at sasabihin ko 'yun sa'yo. For now, I want you to go home and get rest."

"Adina, my daughter." Mr. Sigfried said and walked towards me and held me on my shoulder. "Please understand the circumstances of all of these. We didn't get to see you and talk to you soon because some people are pulling you away from the truth. But this time, we will tell you all of it."

Mahigpit akong yumakap kay Sandro at hindi ko mapigilan ang sarili ko na humagulgol. "I-I'm so scared, Sandro. Seamus got shot in front of me and almost died in front of my eyes.
