•Miriam's POV •

What felt two days passed.

Without as much as a word from my fa-

Atlas I mean. The audacity he has to just show up and leave after spouting his lie to mess with my head.

Chantria hasn't been seen at all since that day and let's say Dio has been staying to himself and acting standoffish towards everyone, except his nephews and nieces of course.

Ruelle has been around my mother a lot and they've been getting even closer. It was almost like weren't at each other's throats how long ago. My mother has been dishing me disapproving looks but I couldn't care less. She was probably worried about Atlas or something.

I felt a bit stuck without help from anyone but it didn't stop me from continuing what I could.

As much as I hate Chantria she did serve her purpose and thanks to her I wouldn't have felt this strong.

I always tried channeling my magic so my body could get used to it. I felt like I was at the point that I should be.

They were side effects of awakening my magic though.

Memories, Emotions and the strain it had on my body.

In these memories there was this woman. So much emotion awakened just from the image of her.

She had the usual authentic demon winged appearance. She always had a little boy by her side. As much as they were feelings of love and happiness they were also feelings of guilt, sorrow and misery.

Flashes of distinct memories would appear whenever she felt the ones she cared for were in trouble, especially her son.

Tue woman loved him more than anything. The way she used her magic was different as well. The woman didn't wield any weapon, she didn't need any which lead to one conclusion.

She was probably a sorcerer.

Their was one thing I was relieved in because it seems that...

I was a sorcerer too.

I could use my powers with an inanimate object but to me it was more effective without it.

A great example was when I fought my father. It felt more like my own if I didn't use any staff or an orb.

I relished in the feeling coursing through me. In time I would learn to control or live with these memories but what I preferred was them to go away.

"Miriam!" Someone shrieked out. Dekatria came storming my way.

I stood up and met her half way before  holding onto her shoulder's.

"Father....he got injured" she utterer and we both raced back to everyone.

"Stop overreacting I'm completely fine" he protested fanning off the crowd around him including his worried wife.

"It wasn't serious. He was trying to play with me. But I think the real aim of this attack was for us to make the first move, more specifically you" he said and everyone turned to me.

"Then I will" I spoke and some of my siblings gasp while others whispered amongst themselves.

"Your crazy if you think your the only one going up against them." Martina said giving me a concerned look.

"I'll be fine trust me"

"Bullshit, don't forget you have a family your a mother now for devil's sake" Dodeka spoke causing a few heads to nod in agreement.
