The Delivery

Jungkook wasn't even in Korea.  After Jimin had attended Yoongi's concert and he'd seen two of his members together again, he couldn't stand it anymore.  He'd secretly flown out of Korea to meet Jimin in Newark, New Jersey.

Yoongi hadn't been at all surprised to see him, and had even asked him what took him so long to get there.  Jimin, on the other hand, was smiling ear to ear the whole first night because it was the last thing he'd expected his husband to do after he'd finally had the chance to laze around for the first time in his life.

Despite the fact that Jimin had planned to go back to Korea the following day, the plans all changed when Jungkook arrived.  The couple decided to spend a few days in New York and the surrounding states, just the two of them.  When Yoongi set off from New Jersey to make his way to Chicago, so did the two married men.

It wasn't until they'd gone from New York to Cape Cod so that Jimin could spend some time at the beach that Jungkook got a phone call.

"Jimin, go on without me.  Taehyungie is calling me.  I'll see what he needs and catch up to you."

Jimin only smiled that wide smile that melted Jungkook's heart and nodded before dashing off to the edge of the shoreline, shoes gone in an instant.

"Hey Taehyung-hyung.  Make it fast.  We're at the beach and you know how much I love beach Jimin."

"Hey Kookie.  I'll be quick.  I just...well, you know how I am watching your place for you while you're gone?"

"Umm...yeah.  Taehyung, please don't tell me you made a gigantic mess or let Namjoon cook in our kitchen again..."

"No, no.  Nothing like that.  It's just...I debated whether I should even tell you or not, but I think it's something you need to know.  I think it might be a safety issue if you don't know.  So..."

"Out with it, Tae.  Just tell me what's wrong," Jungkook insisted, his voice lowering in pitch.  His irritation and dread was evident and he could hear Taehyung suck in a deep breath through the phone.

"Well, you got a food delivery.  Since you and Jimin are the only two who live here and you're both halfway across the world right now in America I figured...it's probably a sasaeng.  Which means they know your new address...and they are sending you gifts again.  Whoever it is could be a threat to you, especially if they find out about...well, if they find out you're already taken.  And you know they'd definitely be a threat to Jimin if they found out you're taken by him."

Jungkook felt his pulse quicken as his gaze found it's way over to the thin man kicking at the waves with his bare feet and grinning until his eyes were nearly closed.  The thought of someone hurting the man he loved, a man who was so kind and gentle, made fire boil in his blood.  He wasn't sure if he was more afraid for themselves or more angry at the so-called fan.

"Thanks, Tae," he choked out through gritted teeth, surprised at how calm his voice sounded.  "I'll take care of it.  I appreciate you letting me know.  You did the right thing."

"Just don't let it ruin your time with Jimin.  And maybe...don't tell Jimin until you're on your way home?  He's really sensitive to these types of things.  He'll spend the rest of the time worrying."

"Don't worry, Taehyungie.  I'll take care of your soulmate."

Taehyung chuckled on the other end of the line.  "You better.  Bye, Kook.  See you guys when you get back...and have fun."

"Will do.  Bye, Tae," Jungkook said as he hung up the phone.  His eyes never left the man who was now attempting to catch up to a seagull who was doing it's best to avoid him.

Hastily typing out a message on weverse, Jungkook tried to contain his rage over the stalker fans and write a coherent post.

Please don't deliver food to my house. I'm not going to eat it. I'm grateful for the thought, but I eat well on my own. Take care of your own meals. I beg of you. If you send it one more time, I'll check the receipt order number and take action. So stop it.

With that, he put away his phone, turning off the ringer and joined his pouting husband.

"What's wrong baby?  Why are you pouting?"

"I just wanted to pet the bird, but I can't get close enough."

Jungkook's heart swelled as a wide bunny grin swept over his face.  He felt the tension in his chest unclench as Jimin wrapped his arms around his neck, burying his face between his pecs.

"Don't worry baby.  You can pet me."

Jimin looked up at him with narrowed eyes.  "Don't be gross, Kookie."

Jungkook only laughed and squeezed the man a little tighter.  He would do whatever it took to protect himself and the little love he held in his arms.  No matter what, Jungkook knew that he would make good on his promise:  To love and to protect.  Forever and always.

A/N: To say I'm disappointed in some fans today is an understatement.  Several of the boys have begged and pleaded to just give them the bare minimum of respect.  Jungkook, on multiple occasions, has made it very plain how distressed he is by these actions.

It's fun to fantasize and it's fun to dream, but we are NOT an actual part of their lives.  We have no right to invade their privacy just because they're famous.  They signed up and agreed to entertain us, not be slaves to our obsessive fantasies.  The people who are doing this need to be stopped and it starts with the rest of ARMY coming together to end it.  I don't know a good solution for it, but I think it definitely has to come from us because these crazed, lunatic fans who can't take no for an answer aren't listening to the expressed wishes of the boys.

Alright.  My rant is over, but the desire to fix this problem isn't.  Let's come together, ARMY's to STOP the stalking, the hate for members that is completely unjustified, and the ridiculous comments on lives that are bothering the members so much.  We're supposed to love and respect them and we can't even give them the absolute bottom of the barrel minimum of human decency.

Let's do better, Lovely ARMY's.  We can do better.

I love you all, and I hope you have enough respect for the members, for me, and for yourselves to really take in the message Jungkook has been preaching.

They are human too.
