No More Dorm

"I still don't think we should even bother buying an apartment for you, Jimin."

Jimin smiled fondly at his boyfriend.  "I know you think that now, but what about if Dispatch or some other news outlet finds out I'm the only member who didn't buy their own apartment when we left the dorm?"

Jungkook pouted.  "Are you going to furnish it and go stay there?  Are you going to go there any time we have a fight?"

"Jungkookie, I have never lived on my own before.  Maybe I should stay there?" Jimin asked with a sly expression.

"No!  I want you to live with me!  I don't want to call it my apartment.  I want to call it our apartment!"

Jimin chuckled as he glanced around at the spacious studio apartment that overlooked the city of Seoul.  He would love to live here.  To live alone for the first time in his life.  To grow in a way that one can only do when they're completely and totally without anyone else's help.

But...

He wanted to be with his boyfriend more.

"Jungkookie.  This apartment is mostly for appearances.  I can stay here when needed, but I will live with you."

Jungkook's face lit up with a bright smile.  He tugged his hyung into a tight hug.  "My baby is going to live with me!"

His sweet smile turned suggestive in an instant.  "We're going to be completely alone.  So much of the time.  Think of all the things we can do."

He winked, making Jimin blush.  "Shut up."

Jungkook chuckled before surveying the space.  He nodded, "Yeah, okay.  You get this apartment for appearances.  Decorate it how you want and we can use this as a backup apartment.  Its on the other side of Seoul from ours so it might come in handy if we have a schedule over in this district."

Jimin grinned up at his boyfriend.  "Maybe this one should be our apartment and the one you picked out is our back up."

He crossed his arms, smirking, as he waited for Jungkook's answer.

"No way!  The apartment I picked for us is way bigger and way closer to the other members!  We live right above Hobi-hyung!  The only member that lives over in this area is Namjoon-hyung."

He gasped and clutched his chest.  "Are you just trying to get closer to Namjoon-hyung?!"

Jimin giggled and hit Jungkook's pecs.  "Yep.  You figured me out.  I've been trying to buy an apartment near Namjoonie-hyung to trade you in."

Wrong move, Jimin thought as hurt and insecurity flashed through Jungkook's eyes.

Sometimes he forgot how jealous Jungkook got...especially when it came to Namjoon.

"I wouldn't blame you, honestly.  And if anyone could make him wonder if he's gay, it'd be you.  You're both so unbelievably perfect.  You'd honestly be the best together.  He's probably the only guy who would deserve you."

His voice sounded so sad that it made Jimin's heart ache.  He wrapped his arms around Jungkook's waist and buried his face into his chest.  "Well, you deserve me.  And there's no one in the whole universe who's more perfect for me than you.  We are one and the same, baby.  Don't be jealous."

"M'not jealous," Jungkook pouted into Jimin's hair.

Jimin leaned back and looked into Jungkook's face.  "You know what?  I think it's kind of silly to get an apartment all the way on the other side of the city from where I actually live.  Our backup should be closer to us, don't you think?  Maybe I can get one closer to the company building.  That way we don't have to go all the way home when we get off work if we don't want to.  I think that makes more sense.  Plus, Namjoon-hyung lives this far away from the other members for a reason.  Maybe he wanted to have some distance now that we're out of the dorm."

Jungkook smiled fondly at his boyfriend, completely understanding what he was trying to do for him.  "If you really want this one, we can still get it, Jiminie.  I won't make you give up something you want just to satisfy me."

Jimin beamed back.  "No, no.  I really think it makes more sense to have my apartment closer to the company building.  Think how much easier it would be to get some rest on those really crazy schedule weeks."

Eyes swimming with tears, Jungkook nodded.  "Yeah.  Yeah, it would be."  He pressed Jimin closer to his chest.  "Thank you, Jimin.  I love you so much and I can't wait to live with just you."

"I love you too, baby," he whispered against Jungkook's chest before they took one last look at the view and began to walk out of the apartment.

Goodbye beautiful view.  As pretty as it would be to wake up to this every morning, it'll be even better to wake up to this view instead, Jimin thought, turning his head from the wall-to-wall windows back to Jungkook.

Yeah, definitely worth giving up my own apartment for, he mentally agreed.

The two men left hand in hand, ready to continue their apartment hunt, knowing that at the end of the day, they'd be curled in each other's arms together.
