Jungkook and Jimin were always getting into trouble for being so over the top and obvious, but I knew most of this vacation was likely to be cut from this season of "In the Soop." They've always been inseparable, but they seemed particularly attached to each other lately. I suspected it had to do with their recent engagement. Even when suggested that they spend time with the other members, Jimin naturally gravitating toward Yoongi-hyung and Hobi-hyung while Jungkook naturally came to myself and Jin-hyung, they still always found themselves coming right back to each other without even trying.
"Taehyungie-hyung! Want to take a ride on the ATV with me?" Jungkook grinned up at me from his seat on the four-wheeler.
I couldn't help but smile back. "Yeah! Sounds fun!" In a quieter voice I whispered, "but don't expect to have the same kind of experience you had with Jimin earlier."
A deep blush spread across his cheeks as he scoffed, me being unable to contain my snickers. Jimin was busy playing basketball with Yoongi-hyung so I shot him a big grin as Jungkook sped off.
"Soooooo...Jungkook. What were you and Jimin doing last night exactly that he slept so late today?" I smirked knowing that his blush had likely returned as he sputtered in response.
"Nothing! Well...okay, not nothing, but...we didn't wake you, did we hyungie?"
I giggled at his innocent response to such a scandalous topic. "No, you didn't. But thanks for confirming what I suspected you were really up to."
Jungkook stopped the ATV along the side of the road. We looked out over the rich green of the hills and trees dotted with pastel colored flowers. The sun seemed to make each blade of tall grass shine in the hot afternoon sun. "It wasn't like that at first and we definitely didn't plan on it. Mostly we just goofed off and spent time together, talking and eating and laughing. It wasn't until we were about to go to bed this morning that things got a little less...wholesome."
I held up a hand. "I don't need any more details than that. I don't know that I could look at my soulmate or my best friend again if I knew much more than that."
Jungkook hit my shoulder, but grinned mischievously. "I think Bam likes Jimin better than me," he attempted to change the subject.
I let it slide and asked, "Why do you think that?"
"Well, Bam follows him if he's around instead of me. Bam loves him. He's supposed to be my dog though! When we get married and if we decide to adopt kids...will they like him more than me? I kind of understand though. Jimin is an angel."
Watching him muse over his future with his fiance, I wondered to myself if there was ever anyone who has loved someone as much as he loves my soulmate. "Bam doesn't love him more. He just loves you two differently. And that's how it will be if you guys decide to adopt kids."
Jungkook only hummed in response as we sat and watched the sun beat down on the thriving summer landscape. "You know most of the interactions between you and Jimin will have to be cut from the footage of this season right?"
Jungkook grinned at me with a quirk of his eyebrow. "I'd certainly hope so. Sometimes I can't keep my hands to myself when it comes to Jimin-hyung. I'd hate for anyone but us to see some of that. Besides...when have either of us cared about hiding how we feel about each other? Even after all the armies are gone and the roar of the crowds die down, when there's no more fame and no more BTS, it'll always still be Jimin. He'll always still be there. That's the point of the rings we wear after all, right?"
I smiled softly at him as I took in his side profile, marveling at how much love his face held. "Right. You should put that in your wedding vows to him. I think he'll like that."
My friend giggled before taking out his awkwardness by putting me in a headlock and ruffling my hair. "We should get back. I want to see what Yoongi-hyung is cooking for us and if he needs help."
"And see a certain mochi?"
"My mochi," he corrected with a smirk.
I chuckled as I held tight to Jungkook while he sped back to the houses. No one ships Jikook like me and seeing the two of them so blissfully happy together brought my heart joy.
Let them cut the scenes, I thought. These two deserve to have that freedom.
We got back just in time for Jimin to have found his way back to Jungkook once more, the two going off to have more adventures the world would never see.

A/N: This is a story request from @insanesoul_. I'm sure this wasn't exactly the take they were looking for, but I enjoyed the premise they gave me and wanted to write it from another member's perspective. Taehyung seemed like the perfect choice. No one ships jikook like Taehyung ships jikook with his constant teasing of the two and calling them out. Especially early on.
So here it is. An In The Soop request story. If you have any requests for a story, feel free to send me a message. I may write another In The Soop story since there aren't all that many out there. Also because I know this wasn't what the requester was likely looking for initially.
Until I do that...ENJOY, Lovely Armies!!
