***TRIGGER WARNING***

There is a censored use of a slur toward the LGBTQ community in this short story.  I starred out most of the word, but the implication can still be understood.  If this is something that will bother you, please be aware that you can and SHOULD skip over the story's "comment section" that is italicized.

Jimin read the comments, grinning wide and chuckling about how silly the fans were sometimes.  He'd just asked them to share a funny story about their favorite person.  Most were just saying that he was their favorite person.  Some comments were about their friends or family.  Some hateful comments were sprinkled in, but he'd grown used to that by now.  Sometimes it still hurt, but he tried really hard not to let them get to him.

Smiling to himself, Jimin thought about his favorite person: Jeon Jungkook.  Not only was Jungkook his best friend, but also his boyfriend of four and a half years.  His smile spread wider across his face as he thought about the man asleep in his bed, still naked from their...cardio earlier.  He thought about how easily Jungkook made him laugh.  He thought about how smart and talented he was.  He thought about how loyal he was.  Jimin thought about how every time Jungkook saw a single hate comment on the group's lives, he would compliment Jimin three times to make up for it and remind him that he is worthy of love.

And Jimin did feel so loved by him.

The comments started to change.  Jimin was used to those prank comments asking who's behind you, so he thought nothing of it at first...until a flash of a naked torso caught his eye.  Warm, bare arms wrapped around him and a nose nuzzled into his neck.

"Hi, baby.  What are you doing up?" a bleary voice asked.

The comments blew up:

Was that JUNGKOOK???

Is Jimin gay???

Does Jimin have a boyfriend??

I TOLD YOU PEOPLE, JIKOOK IS REAL!

Please, get a grip people.  It clearly wasn't Jungkook.  He's probably asleep with Taehyung.

Ugh.  Gross.  Knew Jimin was a f**.

TAEKOOK is REAL, NOT Jikook.

It looks like Yoongi to me.  YOONMIN FOREVER.

You guys are tripping.  THAT is JUNGKOOK.

JIKOOK IS REAL.

Jimin took in the comments and his stomach sank as he realized they were officially exposed.  How would they ever explain this away?  They'd managed to frame each exposure in a way that they were able to continue to hide that they were a couple.  Jimin knew that there was no salvaging or hiding anymore as Jungkook lifted his chin and planted a kiss on his plump lips.

"Ju-Jungkook.  I'm-I'm on live," he spluttered out as he pushed a confused and hurt Jungkook away.  He gestured toward his computer.

For the first time, Jungkook's eyes seemed to clear of his sleepiness and he registered the thousands of quickly pouring in comments.  His eyes widened and he looked at Jimin in pure terror.

"I didn't...I didn't know," he tried to explain, gulping and reluctantly turning to the comments section.

To their surprise, there were a significant number of positive comments.  There were the homophobic comments, the disappointed Taekookers, the solo stans losing their minds, and the odd comment from antis.  Overall, though, they were being quickly shut down by the outpouring of support from the LGBTQ community, Jikookers, and fans who vowed they would support them no matter what.

Jungkook glanced back to Jimin in shock.  His boyfriend wore an equally baffled expression.  When he spoke, Jungkook's voice was barely above a whisper in the darkness of their brand new apartment.  "You guys...don't hate us?"

Again, the comments spouted love and support, trampling out the hateful comments as Jimin and Jungkook watched in growing awe.

Jungkook grinned his famous bunny grin.  He moved Jimin to take his seat and settle him into his lap.  The comments surged even more with fans losing their minds over their interactions.  Jimin blushed and turned his body into Jungkook's to hide his face in his neck.

His boyfriend just laughed, squeezing him tighter, as he addressed the hoards of fans.  The live had gone from a few million viewers to hundreds of millions of viewers since Jungkook arrived.  Jungkook read a comment about his bare chest and flushed red.

"Ah, yeah.  I guess I should really put a shirt on," he sheepishly admitted.  Comments flooded in saying, leave it off.  No need to worry about that, oppa and dozens of others like it.

Jungkook just giggled, but moved Jimin enough to toss on a too-tight shirt he was sure belonged to his boyfriend.  "So," he started.  "I guess we should talk, army's.  Jiminie and I...well...he's sort of my forever guy."

Jimin buried himself deeper into Jungkook's neck, but Jungkook could still see how red his ears were, the rosy red flush creeping down his own neck.  Jungkook smiled down at him, but went on.  "We're dating.  That's probably pretty obvious since I accidentally kissed him in front of all of you.  For the record, and for when the company watches this back, I really didn't know he was on live.  We've been hiding this for so long now.  It was bound to come out eventually, but I do wish we'd been able to come out in our own way and our own time."

"Yes," Jimin agreed, finally unwrapping himself a bit from Jungkook.  "I do wish we'd have been able to come out a little differently, but someone," he glared teasingly at Jungkook, "had to wake up and immediately hug me.  He does this every day.  He wakes up and has only minutes before he spontaneously combusts if he doesn't hug me."

"You're complaining?" Jungkook teased.  "You don't seem to mind when-"

"OKAY! Anyway army's," Jimin cut him off, clamping a hand over his mouth and ignoring the probing comments asking what Jungkook was about to say.  "Thank you to those who were supportive.  I think we're going to end the live here, though," comments begging them not to gushed in at dizzying speeds.  "Someone needs to eat.  I can hear his stomach growling from here." He pointed at Jungkook, who shrugged and grinned.

They said their goodbyes and turned off the live.  Jimin and Jungkook spent nearly half a minute just staring at each other before Jimin finally broke the silence.

"I guess you outed us."

"On accident," he reminded Jimin, worried that his boyfriend would be angry.  "Why didn't you wake me up?"

Jimin sighed.  "You looked so peaceful and you were so tired."

"From wearing you out last night," Jungkook interrupted, wiggling his eyebrows.

Slapping his chest, Jimin blushed, but couldn't help his smile.  "ANYWAY, what do we do now?"

"Are you upset that we're out now?" Jungkook asked, self conscious about his mistake.

Jimin saw then that his boyfriend had been concerned that he was angry.  "I'm not mad, if that's what you're wondering.  A bit shell shocked, and pretty scared, but I'm not mad.  I've always wanted to come out and show my handsome boyfriend off to the world, but Jungkookie...I'm kind of terrified."

"That makes two of us, then.  It'll be alright though.  The company and the members might be mad though.  Do you think we'll get in a lot of trouble?" Jungkook managed to squeak out.

"I don't know," Jimin admitted.  "All I know, is that whatever comes next, at least we have each other."

Jungkook smiled up at him gratefully.  His eyes showed him all the things that words weren't enough to express.  "As long as I have you, that's all I'll ever need."
