Things had gone far enough. Stolas was done putting up with his wife. All Stella had done for the past eighteen years was mock, ridicule, and belittle him. Granted, neither had been thrilled about their arranged marriage. But you didn't see him taking it out on her. The one good thing from their marriage was their daughter Octavia. She was the only thing that had kept them together for so long. But she was an adult now. She could stand on her own two talons. Thus, Stolas finally made a decision that he had been waiting for. He declared a divorce. He knew it wouldn't go smoothly. But he did have some leverage on his side. Hopefully, it would be enough to convince the council of elites. With that, Stolas left his soon-to-be ex-wife on the balcony. It was time to stand up for himself.
