Vortex and Loona were finally living together after dating for a year. It had taken some work to convince Blitzo to let his precious daughter move out. But he knew it was for the best. She was more than capable of taking care of herself. Loona was a fighter and knew how to get things done. And Vortex was making more now, so securing a financially stable future was more realistic now. So, Blitzo helped Loona with the move and asked her to call occasionally. Or at least text. Which she surprisingly did.

Once Loona and Vortex settled down, it was wild almost every other night. Being a hound demon was great and lent a new twist to one position. Both Vortex and Loona loved rock music and often had it playing during these exhilarating nights. It was a good thing they lived in a less populated (somehow) area of the Pride Ring. Noise complaints didn't exist for them. The soreness in the morning was nothing compared to the thrill of the hunt. It was all worth it. The excuse to sleep in and have breakfast in bed was nice too.

It wasn't long before Loona discovered that she was expecting pups. Though it was no surprise. The receipts for multiple new beds supported this. While Vortex and Loona had been thinking about making their own family, they hadn't expected it so soon. They had opted to wait at least a year or two. Both of them liked to move fast. But this relationship was serious. However, you can't hold back the primal instincts of animals. Loona was a woman who knew what she wanted and how to get it. Vortex was a man who never refused a good time. He took a week off to remodel their home the day after she told him. One empty room was converted into a nursery in a week. Another room was turned into an armory to ensure their little ones didn't hurt themselves. Blitzo, Moxxie, and Mille helped out. By the end of the month, the house had been completely redone and was ready to welcome Loona and Vortex's puppies.
