Father Andrealphus Part 2

A few years had passed since Andrealphus found an abandoned egg in the icy forests. He had adopted the chick that hatched only minutes after in his hands. From that day on, he was a father. He named his daughter Malenia. She grew up to have his sass and class, like any teenager. It delighted Andrealphus to see her with such an attitude like his own. Of course, that didn't mean she didn't have manners. As she grew out of teenage rebellion, she quickly matured and became part of the midlevel Goetia ranks. Her eyes also changed from bright baby blue to purple, specifically a lovely periwinkle hue. It certainly helped her look more sophisticated. But that didn't mean she was a pushover. Malenia wasn't afraid to throw talons and get them dirty. If someone wanted to cheat her or lie, she wasn't having it. After all, a Goetia never allows anyone to make them look like a fool. Andrealphus had started training her to use her powers early on. She had grown into a beautiful Goetia with one Hell of a cold shoulder to anyone in her way.

Eventually, the time came for Andrealphus to tell Malenia the truth. They sat down after dinner. He told her everything. It wasn't easy. But he had never been one to sugarcoat things and beat around the bush. And it wasn't like he had a filter on his beak. So, now she knew. Malenia was silent for a minute. She had always felt that she wasn't actually related to her father. But Andrealphus hadn't done a bad job raising her. Sure, he had made a lot of mistakes and embarrassed her. But that was part of his job as a parent. The two talked for about an hour, settling things and deciding how to move on. Andrealphus was proud of her and promised to always be in her corner when needed. Malenia was happy to have a sassy and witty dad like him looking out for her. Because she had news.
