A small percentage of the Goetia were gifted with elemental properties. Some were hot, others were cold, and a few liked a more earthy feel or preferred to dance in the shadows. It wasn't easy. In the beginning, there were only a small handful of this subspecies. They could be gathered in a bar or hotel lobby. These elemental ancestors didn't live long for one reason or another. But soon, they began to establish themselves alongside the main lineage. The chances for an elemental child steadily grew as the two mixed and mingled. But said chances were still slim. Even after many generations, the odds were still unfavorable. As this minor population grew, they became more powerful as they harnessed their powers. And before long, they rose above the primary lineage. Sure, their numbers were small. But they more than made up for it when it came to wielding their powers.
