Running any business is never easy, especially in the beginning. But Charlie was determined to make her dream a reality. Despite her father's cold and completely unfiltered disapproval, she had wanted to redeem demons since childhood. As the next ruler of Hell, she wanted to do better. So, she devised a plan to build and open a rehabilitation hotel for her fellow demons. Luckily, she had enlisted her best friend Vaggie to help. But it wasn't easy with just the two of them. It wasn't long before things quickly went south. From upkeep to advertising, nothing was going well. Charlie was at her wit's end without any support and resources to back the hotel.

The hotel gradually declined until a mysterious stranger knocked. The man was clad in a red suit and had a broad smile plastered on his face. Charlie quickly left her office to greet the visitor and let him in. He introduced himself as Alastor. Of course, she had heard of him. Not many in Hell didn't know his name. But this was her first time seeing him in the flesh. Curious, he inquired about the building and why it was so sad and desolate. With a heavy heart, Charlie told him everything. Alastor listened with a rare level of interest. It was quite an interesting story. And it made him even more curious.

As he drank coffee, Alastor put an offer on the table. He would invest in the hotel. This would include advertising and two staff members to start with. Charlie couldn't believe it. But she couldn't let this chance go. So, she agreed. And they shook hands. They were now business partners. She was still the owner. He would take care of things from the shadows and see to the less-than-glorifying matters behind the scenes. It was a deal.
