Striker stood at the gates of a large mansion. The woman of the house was expecting him. Her name was Stella. And they were currently having an affair. Her husband was useless, not much of a man. Then there was the issue of his affair with some Imp guy. And recently, they had agreed to get divorced. It would've been a smooth ordeal, minus their young daughter Octavia. Striker let himself in the gates and knocked. Stella immediately let him in. After a few quick words, she left her little girl with him and went off to finalize her divorce. Stella would've taken Octavia with her, but she was too young to be in a courtroom. Striker stood dumbfounded with the curious avian child in his arms.

Eventually, Striker took a look around. He started with the kitchen because this kid was hungry. The fridge had containers specifically labeled for little Octavia. There were also notes on the counter. Striker sat her down and heated up a random bento. God, it smelled terrible. But it was what birds typically ate. He watched Octavia eat the whole thing. He cringed. Then she burped and laughed. It was adorable. Following the feeding instructions, Striker prepared the next course ahead of time and cleaned up.

After eating, Striker sat Octavia in the living room before the tv. The family's Sinflix account was up. So, he pulled up some cartoons for her while he read through another set of instructions from her mother. They were surprisingly detailed and thought out. He had to give Stella some credit. While reading, he found a small bird child crawling into his lap. Striker looked down at her little smile. With another laugh, Octavia took his hat and put it on. This was too much. He tossed the papers aside. It was playtime. Of course, he couldn't give a child a real gun. But he would. Also but, Stella would kill him for that. Hours passed, and Striker decided that one day, he was going to be Octavia's new dad. She was too cute to leave alone.
