Alastor walked in the door. His beautiful wife Angela Dust was cradling their infant daughter and making two kinds of stew. From the smell, one was venison, and the other was classic meat and potatoes. There was also garlic bread in the oven and a hot pot of coffee waiting. Their young son was setting the table. He chuckled and let himself into the kitchen. His son ran up and hugged his father. He smiled and picked him up. Angela smiled, hearing the commotion. Alastor never could sneak around anymore. But it was pretty amusing to see him still try. She welcomed him home with a kiss as their son got back to work setting the table.

As everyone ate, Alastor wondered how long they had been together. Time was strange in Hell. Sometimes days flew up in a heartbeat. At other times, they lasted eons. It was hard to know when you were. But that didn't matter. As long as Angela and their children were safe, he didn't care. After dinner, Alastor cleaned the kitchen while she played with the kids. It was a beautiful sight. Angela had always been, well, an angel. But seeing her in a motherly light was something else. Alastor had never seen himself as a father until their relationship had become serious. And here he was. A happy husband and a doting father. He still couldn't believe it sometimes. But seeing Angela and their little ones always reminded him.
