Cynthia stared at the art studio across the street as she sat outside a small cafe. It had expanded since the last time. But that wasn't all. She sighed heavily. She fidgeted and played with her hair. Gertrude still worked there. However, nothing had gone as planned. First, the studio had a new owner named Natasha. After loitering around the shop one too many times, she had filed a restraining order against her. That was when she met the new owner. Second, Gertrude herself had filed one after catching her following her home. Cynthia could only watch from afar now. It was over. All hope was gone. Now, this was Hell. There wasn't much law and order to begin with. But Cynthia had caused a lot of trouble already. So, the police didn't hesitate to put her in her place for being such a nuisance.

A month later, Gertrude was dating a demon who went by the name Kevin. They hit it off pretty well. It all started with talking about video games when he came into the studio to request wall art for his humble home. Today, they ate lunch at the café across the street from the studio. It was a great time. Then Cynthia walked in to stare again. When she saw them, her heart broke. They were sharing a large smoothie. She quickly sat in the corner out of view and watched in pain. A few words floated across the floor as she thought about what to order. They were talking about her. Gertrude was saying how much of an annoying pain in the ass she was. And Kevin was laughing. Cynthia pulled her hood up and slid down in the booth. She was so ashamed. But she had it coming.
