Young Flames

About five years after having Kelvin, Malenia and Phenex had another child. This time it was a daughter. She took after her father and was named Lavia. Being a fire elemental like him, he spent more time raising her during the early years. Fire was wild and difficult to control. As much as Malenia wanted to raise her daughter, she had no control over her flames yet, and the risk of her passing out from melting was too great. So, Phenex took over most of the parental duties. He started her training early so she could be with her mother and big brother without risking harm to them. And Lavia learned fast. By the time Lavia was a young teen, she had enough control over her flames, and it was back to a happy home. She missed having her mother and brother around. But she hadn't felt lonely. Now older, she understood why they had to be separated until she knew how to handle her powers.

Lavia was a bright and outgoing girl. She spent a lot of time out with friends and got a job at the mall in Pentagram City. And she was tough. Her hobbies included welding and various martial arts. It was a lot of fun. And was good for self-defense. Because this was Hell. One needed to be ready to kick ass and survive. And maybe kill (results varied greatly).

Lavia was also a morning girl. She was the second one up after her father. They were up with the sun and had a full breakfast on the table when her mom and brother came downstairs. Being fire elementals, they weren't fond of dark nights and lived for the daylight. Lavia was an excellent cook and debated on working as a chef on the side. She loved her job at the mall. But something new wasn't a bad idea. And it was worth a shot. So, she put in an application for the most famous restaurant in Pentagram City. A week later, Lavia was working at Hell Garden. It had been a good move. Because one day, a customer caught her sunset eyes.
