On the surface, it was a huge holiday. Some country called "America" was founded hundreds of years ago (which was nothing in Hell). And today was said country's birthday. It was a pretty funny idea, celebrating a whole nation. But it did give a wonderful excuse to blast off fireworks. And word of this definitely reached Hell. Stolas immediately saw this as a great opportunity to spend time with his daughter. But he could do one better. He called his friend Blitzo and told him all about the Human holiday. He was bored until the part about explosions. It was perfect. So, the two took a trip to the living world for some major shopping.
Many hours later, Stolas and Blitzo took their respective daughter out. Everything had been set up. Fireworks were waiting to be shot into the sky and their favorite food. It was a huge surprise. Stolas got started on a small bonfire while Blitzo took care of the food. The girls grinned. This was going to be fun. The dark sky lit up with brilliant colors and thunderous roars. It was beautiful. The four had to give credit to the living world. Humans had some decent firepower. While it was still a joke by any demonic standards, it was aesthetically pleasing. Maybe there was something to them. After all, they hadn't survived for centuries eons for nothing. But that was beside the point. Loona and Octavia hadn't spent time with their respective dad in a long time. Stolas constantly kept his rage-fueled wife at bay, and Blitzo worked hard to get his company recognized. But this was a start in the right direction.
