Valentino and Elvira were happy with their adorable daughter. It wasn't long before they had a second child. This time, they had a son whom they named Elliot. Like her, he was cute and fuzzy. Now that they had a little experience, they knew what to expect. Valentino and Elvira closed shop once again to look after their newborn. By now, the mansion was more family-friendly and welcoming. Elliot was a wild child and flew everywhere. His hobbies included fashion and video games. Valentino noticed his son's taste in style and started having him help with picking out casual outfits for his dancers. And Elliot was good at it. He could color coordinate, mix and match, and organize all kinds of outfits. It made him quite popular among them. But, of course, dad kept him away from the more troublesome ones. His big sister Maria watched over him as a personal security guard.
Elliot had his own design studio when he was a teen. It was small. But his natural talent glowed. Soon, he was making outfits for the studios and casino. They were comfortable, functional, and looked damn fine. Everyone loved them. When the results started showing, Valentino bought his son a bigger studio, and Elvira paid for all the machinery. And to make the deal sweeter, they paid for all the expenses from utilities and supplies for a year. Maria took him under his wing and taught him a few of her best moves. She didn't want any jealous jackasses bullying him. Fashion was one brutal industry. He had to be ready to fight for his place among the ranks. And he was prepared to go down stabbing a pair of designer scissors into someone's eye. Or their heart. It really depended on how generous he was feeling.
Elliot worked hard and got better. His designs were seen all over the Pride Ring as he hit adulthood. In time, demons from the other rings heard about his work. The orders quickly amped up. Soon, Elliot had to hire others to handle simpler orders and busy work. He even started making deliveries for high-profile customers. As the profits came in, Elliot worked out a discount system. He was able to lower costs while still earning a hefty paycheck. From dates to business meetings, there was something for every occasion.
Eventually, Elliot was over his studio. It was time to go big. He sat down with his family and presented his proposal. It was very appealing. Being major business owners, Valentino and Elvira saw that his plan was solid overall. They were so proud. Maria reminded him to hire security guards. With their help, Elliot bought a vacant lot in the mall, packed up, and started renovations. It took a few months to get everything in order. But it was worth the pain in the ass. Elliot's former aides came back to work for him after the long vacation. With an actual store, the business blew up. Word spread, and everyone came flying in.
Competition was part of every industry. And Elliot got his turn. By now, he and his store were famous. And someone else didn't like that. So when he came to find his store's garage door and windows covered with graffiti, it was war. But it was too early to make a move. He quickly cleaned everything up and discreetly told his employees. They were just as pissed. A few days later, it happened again. But this time, Elliot was watching from the mall rafters. It wasn't a comfortable hiding spot. But as a moth, up high was his best option. Once he saw the perpetrator, he snapped a picture and dropped down. There was a loud crack of a skull as his boot caved it in. What a shame. He loved those boots. Elliot kicked the vandal over. It was someone from his greatest rival. Well, formal rival. With a grin, he made a post on his fashion blog. He had an army of loyal customers. This was how those in the industry dealt with competition.
