It was that time again. The Executioners were back. But this time, things were different. Upon descending, they were met by a large crowd of heavily armed demons. And they were pissed. For many years, they had lived in fear of this one day. Guaranteed, it was only once a year. But that didn't make up for the murdered friends and family. So, the demons had finally decided to fight back. They had had enough of being pushed around and tormented just for failing Heaven. This ended today.

The war with Heaven had started long ago. But it was still alive. In time, things ended up the way they were now. The former generations were used to it. As for the younger demons, they were less than content with letting angels trample all over them. Eventually, they banned together. Hell was their stomping grounds. If anyone was going to wreck shit, it would be them. Among the first of these demons to rise up was Octavia. With powerful magic under her belt and a natural leader, she enlisted the help of her friends. One by one, they joined her. They studied up on angels and turned an old warehouse and surrounding area into a training camp. Octavia ran the regime with a tight fist. Yes, Hell was overpopulated. But if slaughter was the only solution, so be it. They decided to fight fire with fire and take an eye for an eye. Eventually, Octavia's army gave themselves a name; Hell Knights. Over the months, they grew stronger. Their numbers increased. The clock tower loomed Pentagram City as a grim reminder.

The Executioners flew down and began their routine assault on Hell. Upon Octavia's command, the members of her order that could fly took to the skies. Thanks to this element of surprise, about ten angels feel. Then the fight grounded. The Hell Knights were ready. They scattered and drew as much attention away from the civilians unfortunate to be caught outside. If possible, they got them indoors. As the battle continued, the number of casualties on both sides rose. Fortunately, Octavia ensured her knights had army medics. It helped, but not everyone could be saved. The battle raged on into the burning night. Octavia and her Hell Knights were victorious. With heavy hearts, they counted their fallen and recorded the outcome. But it wasn't over. And they weren't done. As a last act, Octavia let three Executioners live. She sent them back to Heaven with a message. The next time they invaded Hell, it would end worse. Next time, there would be no survivors.
