Ah, the joys and suffering of parenting. The double-edged sword of remembering the little things and taking care of business. The fine line between holding a job and ensuring your young one was growing up strong. It was quite a balancing act. And it went both ways. On one side, parents ensured their precious ones were safe above all else. This was Hell, after all. Sometimes, they forgot the little things like which album to buy or which brand to get. On the other hand, it was a hard time growing up in such a place as Hell. Nobody had much of a childhood. There weren't many happy memories of birthdays and theme parks among all the lessons on how to survive and kill to save yourself. Finding common ground was no easy feat. But it was possible.
