I woke up because my phone was ringing.

I looked at the screen briefly to see an unknown number calling.

📞

: hello?

Unknown : Hi jisung! It's Minho.

My eyes widened and I sat up quickly.

: Oh hi! I didn't have your number sorry.

Minho : No problem! Now you do.

: Um, why are you calling exactly? On a Sunday morning on top of that.

Minho : Oh.. morning.. Jisung it's 2 pm.

I took a moment to realise I had overslept.

: I'm so sorry, I know we were supposed to meet with the group.

Minho : Don't worry, you can just skip this once, I'll tell that you feel sick.

: I can still come, really!

Minho : Only if you want to!

: I'll be ready quickly, please send me the adress by text!

Minho : I will.

📞

I brushed my teeth, put on jeans and a hoodie and got out.

Minho had sent me his location just like I asked him to. It was not too far, fortunately.

Once I arrived at the cafe, I searched for a group.

Only to see Minho sitting, alone.

He was feeding stray cats with some of the bread he propably ordered earlier on.

I advanced in his direction, confused.

: Hi.

Minho : Oh, hi.

Minho threw the last piece of bread in his hands and pointed the chair next to him.

Minho : Come.

I sat where he was telling me to.

: Where are the others?

Minho : Don't even ask.

I could feel that he was pissed off, everyone could have guessed that something was wrong.

: What happened?

Minho : You're the last person I called, the only one who came.

: What? Why?

Minho : Everyone came up with dumb excuses.

: Oh.

He was mad, maybe extremely mad.
I didn't know what to say or do, I was scared of making the situation worse since I wasn't really good with words.
