World of darkness book four : falling empires.

Part 3 : the death of the umbra.

( pov rain )

Me and infernius had been flying for awhile now and stella was holding onto me lying on my back as we flew. According to what infernius heard the end ships from the umbra empire/vampires should be around here soon enough.

" alright you two heres the plan , we board each ship and make them stay out here by preventing them from moving. Once they cant move we will clear out the ships for anything that lance might want , artefacts, magic books . You get the idea . Any questions ?" He asked his two teammates.

Stella " we going in stealthy ? " rain nodded " well in that case it might be best to all of us to go to different ships , three of us all together on one ship may be hard to remain hidden on "

Infernius" is it really the best idea to split up ? For all we know there could be worse then vampires on these ships " we were aware of the risk stella convinced him and i also thought it would be a bad idea since i doubt there would be worse.

After a few minutes of staying floating in the middle of the void the three end ships showed up , they were making a quick stop to check their ships it looked like. I teleported on the left ship and dropped stella off , infernius landed on the far right one and I teleported onto the middle.

The ship was packed on the top with cages with supplies and weapons , before i would go under and break the ship and stop it from working i was going to have a look around to see was there anything i could find worth taking.

I went through some of the crates and avoiding any vampires that would spot me by teleporting away, while not silent i was able to make my teleports more quiet then normal.

After about 2 minutes of looking around i opened a ender chest and saw something , it looked like some sort of machine. There's no way this was made by vampires it was far two advanced , i myself havent seen anything like this. It looked like it would wrap around an arm and turn into a laser cannon but im no expert.

I decided i would come back for it to show lance to see was it worth anything but then i was caught it seemed.

" whos there !?!" A vampire called out from my left , i turned to him and closed the crate.

"Uhhh.. hey im just um...behind you !!"

The vampire laughed " ha like im going to fall for that "

" ok then " i then blasted him with a bolt of energy from my fist sending him flying into another crate which knocked him out" well now before im caught again " I jumped off the edge of the ship and grabbed onto the bottom and began to make my way to the back of the ship , there i could climb on top without being seen so i could destroy the ships movement better.

As i was crawling up the back of the ship i realised both the other ships were coming closer to the one i was on....this wasnt good. Its most likely the ships are about to rope together and so the captains can talk.

I quickly broke the thrusters at the back Then quickly climbed up onto the top of the ship and got ready to the destroy the sails and masts , i charged up a large beam of energy and blasted them but some came down onto the ship and began to break parts of it.

After everything fell i went down and grabbed the advanced tech thing but as i went back to the top of the ship i turned And just my luck some highly explosive material was now on fire and was probably going to explode any second now" well time to go i suppose " before i could fly off something tackled me from behind and caused me to fall on the floor.

Whatever jumped on me was surprisingly light so i stood up and simply shoved them off , i turned and looked down to see a kid on her back staring at me with anger.....wait she looks like marcel....OH FUCK
