As Cynthia stepped to the side away from me and corves i took one last deep breath before we got this fight going, corves had wounded me in mores ways then one and has hurt so many others. He may have lost his daughter but killing 10s of thousands did not fix anything.

While yes i was doing it for them as well as myself, i will admit this is me being selfish. I wanted to bring corves down and show him that i could be stronger than him and that i could be better then him. Besides even if i fail ill go down knowing i never gave up.

And in the end if thats the case at least i might get to see Abigail and ciara again in the afterlife, if thats even a thing i have no idea.

Corves began to charge himself with more energy and roared out loudly , his battle cry ripped into the sky and could be heard even over the loud booming of red legion ships.

Corves " you a brave rain ill grant you that, but we have fought many times now and you havent won yet. What makes you think you can stop me no-" i quickly grabbed my sword and threw it straight at corves, once he blocked the attack with his mace hitting the sword into the ground i flew forward and teleported behind him using the force from my flight spend i hit him in the back and sent him flying.

He then stabilised himself and flew up into the air and sent several bolts of lightning at me, i grabbed my sword and kept running at high speed to keep him from hitting me. After fighting corves so many times i have learned one thing, get that mace away from him so that's exactly what i was going to do.

He raised his mace into the air causing lightning to strike it and charge it up, corves pointed the mace at me and fired the lightning but i then teleported it and then shot my own energy blast into the mace stunning it and shutting off the blast for a short time while i flew up to corves and punched him twice in the face sending him up higher and higher with each punch.

" like the trick ?" Corves then started flying down towards me , i readied a punch and managed to punch him in the side, as we started falling to the ground he tried to smash my skull in with his mace but i was able to grab the handle and kept it away from my face.

Corves " once im done with you that netherkin end monstrosity will be morning a pile of-" i was sick of hearing his voice in a mocking tone so i moved my body out of the way of his mace allowing me to grab one of his horns and pulled his head down, i then headbutts his face before kicked him off of me and flying straight up.

I could tell he was getting angry which is what i needed, still if i can get the mace away from him that will help me greatly. I summoned my arm blades and grabbed my great sword as he began to fly up towards me. I then started flying towards him as well. I stared putting energy into the great sword making it glow with energy.

Corves is immune to energy attacks but thats only if im trying to use them to hurt his body. I threw the sword at him and he blocked it with his mace but when the weapons collided it created a shockwave so power it sent corves back towards the ground.

The sheer force of the energy sent him back without giving him any benefit, as he tried to stabilise himself mid air i flew towards him. He raised to blast me with lightning from his free hand, i started to overcharge my armblades and once i got close enough I closed my eyes and clashed the two blades together creating a giant flash blinding corves for a moment.

I slammed into him full force and knocked his arms apart, i then swung my great sword at his mace as hard as i could and slashed it out of his hands. He rubbed his eyes with his other hand and then saw that his mace was falling to the ground.

" dropped something ?" I gave him the middle finger on both hands before stopping my flight and just dropping myself straight down ward. Corves yelled something in frustration and then started flying after me.
