Part 26 : battle for the eye.

( pov rain)

We made our way outside the building to avoid being injured by the dragon breaking through the inside after coming from the staff.

The roaring could be heard even over the sounds of the buildings being broken apart. " ok well anyone have any bright ideas ?...." No one answered "... anyone got any stupid ideas ?" They all looked at me ".... What ?"

Mara " well your the dragon tamer you should do something"

" i havent done anything with a dragon in like two years and that was luck last time !!!!" Suddenly the dragon burst through the side of the building and flew above us.

Eoin " well , thats an issue " everyone teleported away but the rifts who flew away and me since i didnt have the teleportation crystal in me so i had to jump out of the way as the dragon landed.

I ran towards the others and we all took cover behind some sort of random metal thing sticking out of the ground , the dragon started breathing purple fire at us.

Stella " well uhh rain maybe time to brush you your skills !!!" She said slightly panicked.

I popped my head out once the dragon was done breathing fire and oh hell it was bigger then i thought being id say at least twice the size of the dragon i use to have "... i have to fight that ARE YOU KIDDING ME !!!!" I looked back at everyone and still everyone was looking at me.

I walked out and the dragon saw me " i just want you all to know if i die i dislike most of you!!!"

Elise " i feel the same NOW GO !!!" Mara smacked her in the head to get her to shut up.

I slowly started approaching the dragon , its mouth had smoke coming out of is so clearly it was waiting to blast me with fire. It was angry and confused as if it didnt know why it was brought here " easy there , easy no ones here to hurt you since you will probably hurt us far more" he growled at me as it spread its wings to try use its size to intimidate me.... Unfortunately it was working.

" look im out of practice but they use to call me the dragon tamer so maybe we can work together here and not-" he raised its head back and started to breathe fire at me again " DO THAT !!!" I grabbed my great sword and used it to spilt the flames before it could reach me directly but it was still very hot

Once it stopped i kept hold of my sword and looked back at the dragon " ok now im pissed , you are either gonna listen to me or im going to have to fight you so whats it gonna be ?" Before i knew it the dragon slapped me with its tail sending me flying into a building.

( pov narrator)

Eoin " well ... ive seen worse"

Mara " deny worse ?...never mind ... yeah getting eaten is worse. So how do we stop that thing ?" She asked for any other ides since rain failed so miserably.

Elise " we need to get it out of the city or kill it !!!" No one outside of her really wanted to kill it. The watchers especially.

Eoin " ill distract it the rest of you either help me or make sure rains still living " he grabbed his sword and shield " COME AT ME BEAST !!!!" He ran towards the dragon.

The dragons fire began heading for him and he teleported out of the way and landed on the dragon , he grabbed the horns on its head and held on. The dragon started flying up slowly and shaking its head to get eoin off.

Eoin " HA HA !!!" He was a lot of fun which surprised most of the others " dont think i dont know how this goes ive been to rodeos before. No one could stay on me for more then 6 seconds " he laughed uncontrollably at his own joke before he was thrown off the dragon.
