Chapter 4: Enchanted

Mikha's POV

"Mikhs, you won't come talaga?" Colet said, trying her luck for the nth times. Nakasandal ako ngayon sa hood ng car ng dad niya.

"No, I'll rest nalang. My head's hurting real bad eh." I answered seriously. My best friend frown and nodded her head before saying goodbye. When her ride was out of my side, I decided to go straight to my room and rest.

Ano naman kasing naisipan ni Maloi at nagyaya uminom bigla kagabi? My tolerance in alcohol is not that high, unlike them. We're still minors pero akala mo nagbabatak palagi sa inuman eh. Hindi lang naman lasa ng alak ang ayaw ko, it's the aftermath of it I hated the most. After five shots, I stopped drinking and just listened to their dramas. I also gathered all the strength I had last night para maiuwi sarili ko.

I closed my eyes for a minute nang maramdaman ko ulit ang pagbukas ng pinto ng kwarto ko. I didn't bother looking at the person who entered my room. Ang alam ko lang ay ang mga kaibigan ko ulit ito dahil hindi sila marunong kumatok. For sure, they came back here for me.

"What came into your minds ba? You guys know she's not used to drinking alcohol. Hindi talaga kita pwedeng iwanan, Sheena." Gwen nagged at her girlfriend, hindi naman makasagot ang isa.

"Answer! Hindi 'yong you look stupid sitting there." Muntik na akong matawa. Takot kasi si Sheena kay Gwen, sa kaniya lang ito nakikinig. I opened my eyes to see Colet and Maloi, namumutla rin sila sa takot katulad ni Sheena.

Pero nawala rin agad tawa ko when I saw Colet's head resting on Aiah's lap. She's gently massaging Colet's temple. When we locked eyes, umiwas agad ako. I hate her. She's so irritating. Masivado niyang. ginulo isip ko sa sinabi niya noong nagroadtrip kami. Plus, I still can't get over of what she did in Canada.

"You're so beautiful" Colet whispered but it's too loud for us to hear it. Nagsalubong kaagad ang kilay. ko dahil dito. Kung maglalandian sila, huwag dito sa kwarto ko. At mas lalong huwag sa nakikita ni Jhoanna. My eyes diverted into Jhoanna who's looking at Colet and Aiah with sad eyes. Looking at her, I can sense that she's jealous and anxious about what she's seeing right now.

"Get a room!" I yelled. I heard my friends laughed at what I said. Akala siguro nila ay nagbibiro ako.

"Are you jealous? Come here na nga, I'll massage you nalang din." Aiah left Colet and went closer to me.

"Come here sabi mo pero ikaw 'yong lumapit?" Pagsusungit ko rito. But the girl just laughed at me. She forcefully pulled my head to her lap and when she succeeded, she gently massaged it.
