Mikha's POV
I woke up when Sheena slapped me hard.
"Fuck you, Shee! What's your problem?" I asked her while holding my left cheek.
"Are you coming with us or no?" she raised an eyebrow.
"Where?" I'm confused, I just woke up for fuck's sake!
"To the Arceta's. Aiah is now leaving." Colet shortly replied and stood up, leaving my door open. Maloi and Sheena followed her immediately.
What? She's leaving?
"Damn it! Wait for me, you fools!" I shouted and hurriedly put my hoodie on. I ran as fast as I can to catch them.
Colet is driving and Sheena is on her passenger seat. Medyo lutang pa nga ako dahil kagigising ko at hindi man lang ako nakapaghilamos o toothbrush man lang.
Nagulat ako nang bigla akong tinapik ni Maloi. "Nice slippers ha!" she winked at me. Bahagyang lumingon sila Colet at Sheena upang tingnan ang suot ko sa paa kaya napatingin din ako. I just realized na hindi pala magkapares ang nasuot ko kakamadali.
"Fuck off!" Nasabi ko nalang sa kanila.
Tahimik lang ako habang nasa biyahe habang sila ay pinagtatawanan nanaman ako.
We're currently in the Arceta's front yard. Colet looks so sad and my eyebrows are creased. We're all excited actually, because it's already December which only means one thing: vacation and Christmas!
But then, I've received a bad news today. She's leaving. She said she'll study in La Salle kaya panatag naman ako kahit papaano. Dito lang naman siya sa Manila, bakit kailangan pa naming pumunta dito to send her off?
Looking at my best friend now, it's like we're already at the last day of Christmas. I looked around, the rest of my friends doesn't look as lost as I am. They know something that I don't. The feeling I am having isn't so good also. Like something is about to happen that will affect us.
