Mikha's POV
Weeks have passed after our one week vacation. Hindi ko naman masyadong na-enjoy dahil bukod sa nag-iiwasan kami ni Aiah, naiinis din ako sa pagbuntot sa kanya ni Mikki most of the time. I'm just so glad that Criza's there to accompany me.
We're here at the mall waiting for Maloi. We're going to buy an engagement ring for Colet. She'll propose to Jhoanna later tonight. Kung hindi rin naman kasi tanga itong best friend ko, hours before the main event lang siya bibili. She believes that once she saw the perfect ring daw, iyon na 'yon.
"Akala ko ba you have to drop something pa sa hospital before going here? Napaaga ka ata?" I asked Maloi who just arrived.
"Nagmind 'yong change ko eh." she joked.
"Umagang-umaga ang taas ng energy mo. May ubo ka talaga sa utak eh." Colet said and walk faster, leaving the three of us.
Nang maabutan namin siya ay nasa harap na kami ng isang jewelry shop. It's giving us vintage yet elegant vibe. The owner is in her mid 40's. Colet told us that her parents bought their wedding ring in this shop at dito niya rin balak bilhin ang singsing para kay Jhoanna.
I love how my best friend can freely voice out her unconditional love for Jhoanna. Nakakatuwa ring panuorin si Colet kung paano niya alagaan si Jhoanna. Though they're full of assurance, hindi pa rin nila pinapabayaan ang isa't-isa.
Kita mo 'yon, Lord? Ganyan din ang gusto ko. I want what they have.
Colet finally saw a perfect diamond engagement ring for Jhoanna. Sheena made a reservation for a sapphire engagement ring because she's planning to propose to Gwen na rin. Si Maloi, she's still exploring life. Siguro darating at darating din.
I didn't realize that I was staring too long na pala to this champagne diamond engagement ring. It's a pale champagne, sakto lang ang size ng bato nito and it has white small diamonds on the side.
Sobrang ganda, nagmamatch sa skin tone ni Aiah. I suddenly imagined how she'll look like wearing the ring.
"Are you okay, bud?" Colet spoke on the side.
