The Grundle

(Cole's POV)

"T-This is a lot harder with my legs being half their regular size" Lloyd gulped as he struggled with sneaking out of his own apartment, clinging on for his life as he tried to carefully step onto the black roofing underneath the window "Just don't look at how high up you are and you'll be fine Lloyd" I gave some helpful advice to the Green Ninja, getting a few stares from the other Ninja for whatever reason

"Geez, thanks Cole" Lloyd thanked me as his right foot stepped onto the black tiling, all was going well until he fully climbed out of the window, as soon as he let go of the apartment wall Lloyd lost his balance and slipped right off the black roofing

My extremely muscular arm reached out and caught the back of his gi just in time, lifting the young Ninja away from his doom and onto the rooftop next to the Green Ninja's apartment

"T-Thanks Cole, I really mean it this time" Lloyd told me with a shaky voice, eyes wide as he tried to recover from the sudden shock of almost falling to what could have been his end from his own apartment

"You've done this like a thousand times before Lloyd, what happened?" Skylor asked the blonde haired Ninja who seemed to have settled down "I don't know, I think being reverted to a younger age must have erased all of my Ninja skills, I've been feeling weaker ever since the spell happened" Lloyd tried to explain to us

Man being turned 10 years younger sounds like it really sucks, not even being able to keep your Ninja skills? Almost makes me tear up thinking about it, I don't even want to think about possibly losing my awesome muscles if I were included in the spell

"Yeah I've felt the same" Nya shouted from the open window of Lloyd's apartment, Harumi and Kai nodding along "There's no way the three of us are gonna get over to you guys without falling like Lloyd" Harumi told us with a worried look

"I've got it!" I loudly shouted as the perfect idea came to my mind "You three can just grab onto my hammer and I'll swing you all across!" I told everyone of my incredible plan, taking my hammer off my back and proudly displaying it

For the second time I got a few stares from the other Ninja before Kai spoke up "Uhh, are you sure about this bro? Seems kinda risky, and I would know a thing or two about risky"

"Are you seriously doubting my hammer skills right now? I can't believe you bro!" I huffed in annoyance "Just trust me on this one! I promise that it'll work" I pleaded to the other Ninja

The other Ninja shared a few glances with each other before allowing me to go forward with my awesome plan, with a confident grin under my mask I moved my hammer across the gap between the rooftops, just close enough for the three pint-sized Ninja to grab onto

"Since you wanted to doubt my hammer skills, you can have the honours of being the first to try my brilliant idea Kai" I slyly said to the small Fire Ninja, he looked like he was about to protest but a nudge from Nya had him climbing out of the window and reaching for my hammer, grabbing onto it with his two gloved hands "Alright now hold on tightly" I told Kai who gulped as I began to swing him over to us, making sure to do it slowly and carefully as the Fire Ninja kept his eyes closed during the whole thing. Nya and Skylor would never forgive me if he ended up being a red splatter on a cable car

My hammer slowly began to come back down on our side, with Kai's short legs eventually touching the solid ground of the rooftop, he opened his eyes and let out a sigh of relief that he didn't plummet to his doom "I believe somebody owes me an apology for doubting my hammer skills" I smirked at the young masked Ninja

"I knew you could do it bro!" Kai happily shouted as we gave each other a quick high five, me needing to bend down so he could actually reach my hand

With my bro safely across to our side, I readied myself to bring Nya and Harumi over to join us, just like I did with Kai I brought the two of them over slowly and carefully, with the only problem being Harumi's loud screaming.....
