The Scythe of Quakes

(Cole's POV)

We all looked in amazement as Zane summoned ice in his hands and proceeded to shoot it into the air with a smirk on his face, the ice shot into the sky and exploded just like a firework! Zane spun his shurikens around in his hands smirking

"I see you have learned how to use your elemental power Zane" Wu said as he walked up to us with his staff in hand

"Yes Sensei" Zane said bowing with the rest of us following suit

"Good good, we will need you all to be able to use your elemental powers when we face Lord Garmadon" Wu said as he walked towards a crate on the deck of the Bounty, and pulled out the map of the Golden Weapons

"What Golden Weapon is next Sensei?" Nya asked Wu stepping closer to the map

"The only other Golden Weapon on this half of the map is the Scythe of Quakes, an earth elemental weapon" Wu told us making everyone's head turn to me

"The next Golden Weapon is mine!? That's awesome!" I fist bumped the air in excitement as I could see Kai pout and cross his arms

"Ugh when am I gonna get my Golden Weapon?!" Kai said stomping his feet like a child making us all let out a chuckle

"You must have patience Kai, patience is key to unlocking your elemental power and true potential" Wu wisely said to Kai

"But I need my elemental power now! We need it to defeat Lord Garmadon!" Kai snapped back at Wu

"Right now you are not worthy of unlocking your elemental powers Kai, you must learn to be patient!" Wu said smacking Kai on the top of the head with his staff

"Listen to Sensei Kai, we can't just rush into this, the entirety of Ninjago is at stake!" Nya told her brother

"Now is not the time to be hot headed Kai, we mustn't rush anything and we must have a plan" Zane told Kai who just rolled his eyes

"Y-yeah, I don't r-really fancy r-r-rushing into fighting L-Lord Garmadon! Besides it'll t-take him awhile t-to track down t-the Golden Weapons on h-his half of the m-map" Jay said leaning against the sails of the Bounty

"Do not argue students, we have arrived at our destination" Wu said anchoring the ship and kicking a plank down so we could all walk off the ship

Once we stepped off the plank we looked around at our environment and saw a quite rocky and barren landscape with rock spikes and magma all over the place, we all turned to Sensei to ask him more about this place

"Uh Sensei? Are you sure this is the right place? It looks pretty barren. Not to mention all the lava!" I said to Sensei who merely chuckled and began walking across the cracked surface with us following behind him

"My father's map is correct, this is the resting place of the Scythe of Quakes, we must venture far into this rocky magma environment if we wish to retrieve your Golden Weapon" Sensei Wu told me as he stroked his beard

"Uhh S-Sensei aren't y-you a little f-f-frightened by all of t-the lava a-around here?" Jay asked nervously as he carefully stepped over a hole of lava

"Why be afraid of something that does not intend to harm you? This lava is only carrying out mother nature's wishes Jay" Wu said as he used his staff to cross a river of molten magma

"Aren't y-you guys a little s-scared of f-falling or slipping into t-t-the lava and being b-burnt alive-" Jay was stopped by Lloyd's gloved hand covering his mouth stopping him from freaking out more

"Well we won't have to deal with anything burning us once I unlock my elemental power!" Kai said eagerly as he hopped across some floating stones in the lava, but as Kai jumped onto the last one his foot slipped, luckily for Kai Sensei used his staff to stop him just before his back fell into the lava. Kai hopped onto the dry rocky earth letting out a sigh of relief
