Back to School

(Nobody's POV)

"Come on Lloyd you'll be late for school!" Koko, Lloyd's mother called out to Lloyd as he slowly began to wake up, Lloyd groaned and reluctantly got out of bed

Just the other day the ninja had saved the City and they were already back to boring old Ninjago High School, you would think that the High School would at least give the students one day off after Garmadon's defeat but nope, right back into school the day after his defeat

Lloyd went through his morning routine as usual, getting out of bed, getting dressed, brushing his teeth and then finally getting breakfast. Lloyd hugged Koko goodbye before he left their small apartment

Lloyd ended up walking to school today, as soon as the bus driver saw him coming he immediately shut the doors and sped off, definitely going way over the speed limit, Lloyd just sighed at the usual response and continued to walk to school

"Oh Seliel I'm so glad you're okay!" Cole said to Seliel as he squeezed her in a tight hug as soon as she walked into the school

"And I'm glad you're okay too big guy" Seliel chuckled as she slipped out of Cole's tight hug and took hold of his hand

"Come on you have to say hi to the others!" Cole told Seliel leading her over to the rest of the gang who were at their lockers

"Hey guys! It's been awhile huh?" Seliel waved to the others as they all waved back happily

"Seliel! It's been so long since I've seen you!" Harumi gasped hugging her best friend who hugged her back

"It's great to see you guys too, thank the First Spinjtzu Master those ninja came back and saved the city!" Seliel told the others who looked at each other with knowing looks

"Hehe y-yeah those n-n-ninja sure are g-g-great!" Jay stuttered cheerfully as he played with his bright orange scarf

"Hey guys!" Lloyd called out as he entered the school and waved at his friends who waved back

"Hey greenie!" Seliel greeted Lloyd

"Oh hey Seliel! I'm glad to see you're safe after what my dad did" Lloyd told Seliel

"Oh I won't hold it against you greenie, I know you and your father are completely different people" Seliel smiled at Lloyd

"Looks like the gang is back together" Kai smirked as he held Skylor's hand

Suddenly the school bell rang and students began locking their lockers and heading to class

"If you excuse me friends I will be heading to my classes now, I very much look forward to seeing you all during lunch" Zane smiled to the others as he began walking to his Technology class

"See you all at lunch then, wanna walk to English with me Jay?" Nya asked Jay

"Uhhhh y-y-yes!" Jay quickly answered, shyly putting his scarf up to his face, Nya let out a small giggle and walked with Jay towards their English class

"Care to join me on my way to Science m'lady?"
Lloyd asked Harumi with his hand extended, Harumi giggled and happily took his hand

"Why of course" Harumi smiled as the two lovers walked off hand in hand towards their Science class

"We better leave the two love birds to catch up babe" Kai smirked to Skylor as they both walked off leaving Cole and Seliel alone in a blushing state

"Do you ummm....you uhh you want to ummm" Cole spluttered out sounding like Jay, before he could even ask Seliel to join him she quickly kissed Cole on the lips

"Yes Cole I will join you" Seliel smirked as she took Cole's hand bringing him to his first class of the day

"Ughhhh school is so boring!" Harumi whined as she sat down beside Lloyd at their lunch table

"Well not everyday can be as exciting as yesterday" Kai yawned as he put his arm around Skylor

"H-h-hey g-guys" Jay greeted everyone as he and Nya entered the cafeteria and joined everyone

"Hey guys I'm gonna go get another water" Seliel told everyone at the table before she got up and left them

"Okay now that Seliel is gone we can talk about ninja stuff" Skylor whispered

"So when do you guys think that me and Skylor can get proper ninja suits like the rest of you?" Harumi asked

"Well you're gonna have to talk to Sensei about that, he's the one who gave us our suits" Lloyd told Harumi

"And we are going to need Sensei to talk to his friends over at L.E.G.O, our mechs were completely destroyed after the Serpentine finally caught them" Zane told everyone

"Dibs on having the coolest mech!" Nya quickly dibbed

"What are we talking about?" Seliel asked as she sat down beside Cole, everyone immediately stopped talking and awkwardly looked at each other

"Uhhhh w-w-we were just t-talking uhh about how b-b-boring school is" Jay quickly spat out to Seliel

"Well I'll just leave you guys to it then, I've gotta go get some stuff from my locker. See you later Cole" Seliel pecked Cole on the cheek and quickly fled the cafeteria leaving Cole a red mess

"Awww you two are cute" Nya giggled making Cole even more of a flustered mess

Just before everyone else at the lunch table could tease Cole the bell for the end of lunch rang and students started making their way to their final classes

"See you guys at the Warehouse" Kai told the others before he and Skylor got up and left

"Uh Warehouse?" Skylor whispered to Kai as they walked off together

"Oh it's our Secret Ninja Force secret headquarters, it's really big and I'm sure you'll love it!" Kai told Skylor

"Ugh now I really want school to be over!" Skylor whined making Kai let out a chuckle at his girlfriend's childish behaviour

Bit of a shorter chapter this time but hey sometimes shorter is better than longer, this chapter is mainly just to set things back to normal and show that Seliel is completely fine, do not worry Coliel fans!
