And Make it Double!

(Nya's POV)

The room was dead silent, the only sounds to be heard were Jay's foot tapping nervously and the ticking clock above Ms. Laudita. We all waited with bated breaths, our eyes glued to the hands of the clock ticking away, any moment now and this wretched torture will finally end!

None of my previous detentions have felt this long or nerve-racking, probably because most of them were before I became a Ninja and didn't involve being stuck in a classroom while evil versions of ourselves caused chaos in the city!

We were literally on the edge of our seats as the clock finally struck the hour mark

"Alright you lot d-" We didn't even let Ms. Laudita finish whatever she was saying as the eight of us grabbed our things and bolted out of the classroom door, rushing down the hallway in a colourful blur as we navigated to our lockers

Zane made sure that the cameras in the hallway weren't switched on before we swung open our lockers, flipped the fake wall around and jumped inside, shutting the locker door behind us as we all slid down our separate tunnels to the warehouse, quickly changing into our Ninja gi while enjoying the ride

In no time flat we had reached the end of our tunnels, springing out of another set of lockers and arriving at our warehouse hideout, being greeted by Master Wu calmly enjoying a cup of tea as the eight of us frantically rushed over to him

"Ah there you all are, I was worried that you wouldn't show" Master Wu spoke to us, setting down his cup of tea, how can he be so relaxed right now!?

"Don't mean to harsh your flow Master, but aren't you a little concerned about the evil versions of us terrorising the city?" Cole asked Master Wu "Sure they're just committing petty crimes but that's still gonna ruin our reputation, people might not trust us anymore"

Master Wu stood from his chair and grabbed his bo staff, beginning to walk around the warehouse with us hastily following after him, itching to go stop our evil clones "Just like you all I too am worried about these new evil Ninja, they could pose a larger threat than just ruining your reputation" Master Wu began to tell us "However I am at ease knowing that you Ninja are no doubt capable of defeating these evil clones and clearing your names"

"B-B-But where d-did these e-evil Ninja come f-f-from? And how a-a-are we meant to d-defeat them? How a-a-are we supposed to f-f-fight ourselves?!" Jay loudly questioned, jittering all over the place

"I am not quite sure of their origin but I suspect that my brother had a hand in their appearance" Our mentor told us while stroking his wise beard "Maybe Garmadon used magic!" My bro suggested, even if I think that might be a stupid idea I guess we can't really rule out anything

"Well however that four armed creep made those imposters appear we're still gonna show them a hard time for ruining our reputation!" Harumi angrily shouted, swinging her sai around in anticipation, frightening the Blue Ninja beside her

Lloyd stepped toward Master Wu with his fists raised in determination "You can count on us to get rid of these phoney Ninja!" He declared with confidence "I expect nothing less from my Secret Ninja Force, I ask that you all take great caution as these clones might have a few tricks up their sleeves" Master Wu warned us

The eight of us nodded in understanding "I can't believe I'm saying this but I am totally gonna kick my own butt!" I pumped my fist into the air with a cocky grin under my mask

I rushed over to the set of orange lockers beside the workshop and grabbed my spear as the others quickly grabbed their own weapons and the eight of us hurried out of the warehouse and began heading for the city, with Zane using the live broadcast to pinpoint the location of the evil doppelgängers
