(Chelsea's POV)

B- Well when I came back to get my wallet so I could go out to eat, someone knocked on my door. I went to get it and when I opened it, Matt was there.....

C- Oh my gosh! Is he still there??

B- Yeah, I'll call you later, I have to go. Love you! Byeee

C- Kk, love you too! Bye!!

"What was that about?" Hayes laughed.

"Matt went to New York and surprised Bella!" I exclaimed.

"Awhh! That's my boy." He laughed.

"He likes her a lot, I'm so happy for him." I smiled.

"We have to FaceTime him later." Hayes replied.

"Okay, sounds good! Are you still going to that funeral?" I asked.

"Are you going?" He questioned.

"Yeah." I replied.

"Then I'm going." He smiled and then it faded.

"What's wrong?" I asked looking at him.

"I have to stay in North Carolina for a little while after the funeral. My mom wants me home, you're gonna have to fly back to LA alone." He sighed.

"It's fine." I smiled.

He didn't really talk to much after that, and I felt kinda bad. He was holding my hand driving, we finally got to the hospital. I got out and we walked in, We went up to the desk.

"Hi, I'm looking for Shawn Parker." I said.

"Room 324." She smiled.

We walked around till we found an elevator. We got in the elevator and we went up to the 3rd floor. We walked and I saw the number 324 on the door. I took a deep breath and opened the door. Hayes walked in right behind me.

"Dad!!" I yelled hugging him.

"Chelsea." He smiled weakly.

"This is Hayes." I said.

"Well hello." He replied.

"Hey Mr. Parker." Hayes smiled.

We talked for awhile, about a lot of things.

"Chelsea, can you go get me a water please?" My dad asked.

"Sure, and do you want anything?" I asked Hayes.

"I'll have a Pepsi." He replied.

"Okay." I smiled.

(Hayes POV)

Chelsea walked out and I was in there with her dad alone.

"So Hayes, I haven't told Chelsea, but I only have 1 month left, please don't tell her. And her mom will be here soon too." Her dad sighed.

"Im so sorry, and don't they not get along?" I asked.

"No, they haven't talked in 3 years either. But the reason why I told you about my time left is because, I wanted to tell you that Chelsea likes you a lot." He smiled weakly.

"Well, I happen to like her too." I replied.

"I could tell, I wanted to tell you to make her happy and please don't break her heart, like her other boyfriend." He explained.

"Don't worry, I won't." I smiled.

Shawn's phone went off and he read the text. He sighed and put his phone down.

"What's wrong?" I asked

"Chelsea's mom can't make it today..." He sighed.

We were interrupted by Chelsea coming in the room.

"One water, and one Pepsi." She smiled.

It was now 4:30 and we decided that we were going to leave. Our flight leaves tomorrow night. We went and ate at Buffalo Wild Wings. We got back to the hotel and Hayes face timed Matt...
