Rudra and I were unable to look away from each other. Heck, I even had my breaths stopped since the moment I found him at the end of the stairs. We were so dazed that neither I nor he realised that he hadn't hung up the call and the person on the other side of the phone was probably trying his best to get Rudra's attention. And after a few moments, he was successful in getting Rudra's attention.
Rudra blinked furiously, coming back to reality before looking away and replying on the phone, with his head held high. The place was dark, only being lit by some of the dim LED lights from the ceiling. But I could still see his protruding Adam's apple and mandible moving as he talked on the phone call. I was so lost observing him, that I didn't even notice when he had ended his call and was now looking at me with a raised brow.
"You going to stand there all night?" I heard his deep, husky voice clearly and snapped my eyes to focus on his face, he's now looking down at his mobile phone as he typed away something.
"Huh?" I frowned, trying to remember what he said once again because I didn't hear it for the first time properly.
Sighing, he looked up at me and pocketed his phone. His eyebrows were pulled together. He walked up the stairs to me and stood in front of me at his full height.
"Are you sleepwalking?" He asked and my eyes widened.
"What?! No." I shook my head, still not believing what he just asked me.
Sleepwalking aka somnambulism is something I've struggled with in my childhood. But I've grown out of it since I hit puberty. It can sometimes be genetic, but I know no one from my family who had this problem before. And I have a guess that my sleepwalking problem was related to my mumma's sudden death in the car accident, where I almost faced my death.
I still remember the day.

It was a Sunday morning and I had an off day from school just like every other child in the world. I was playing in my room with my doll house that Papa brought me on my 8th birthday.
My room was not the girly-girl type, it would make me cringe. Stylish accessories, vibrant textiles and loads of super-smart storage made my room a living dream for me. My simple white loft bed creates a solid base without distracting from the room's style which is told through accessories, textiles and lighting jn playful colours, as well as sweet touches like the pastel gradient wallpaper. Right under the loft bed, I had a study place consisting of a study table, a swivel chair, a LED lamp and stationeries. A pendant lamp shade hung beside the loft bed at the same height. A vertical hook rack with a full height mirror was in between the wall and the study table. Some LED decoration lighting and room darkening curtains were also there with a huge wardrobe filled with my clothes and other items.
