CHAPTER - XXII
⚘ 𝐴𝑈𝑇𝐻𝑂𝑅 ⚘
After getting ready, Yuvika was led out of the house by Ellaine and Tanya, since the function was to be held at the garden area in the backyard. Yuvika had to keep a hold of her sharara pants whilst walking down the stairs, so she wouldn't trip over the long and wide ends of the pants. She greeted some relatives on her way with everyone complementing how beautiful she looked and some aunties teasing her. She even got some attention from the kids, who were very shy to talk to her at first but then due to the insistence from their mothers, they approached her and gave her some cutest best wishes for her wedding.
Yuvika was so tempted to kidnap and keep a little guy, who was not more than four years old, with her. Even though every other kid was cute, that little guy, named Ansh, was the cutest according to her. He had those cute baby fat in his cheeks and that pinkish pouty lips of his were very adorable. Even he talked so cutely, a little babyish and extremely lovable. Tanya and Elaine had to drag her out of there to the function area leaving the baby with his mother.
"I so wanted to keep that baby. I just wanted to ditch the haldi function, kidnap the guy and go back home." Yuvika commented once they were outside, making the girls roll their eyes at her obsession with the little kid named Ansh.
"Of course, you did!" Tanya said, sarcastically, "Dude, did you realise the way you were looking at him? It was so creepy and weird." Tanya made a face.
Yuvika made a face in return before looking around the place decorated for the haldi ceremony. Everything looked either yellow or white in there. The couches were covered in white clothes, tied up in yellow ribbons, the white pillars were wrapped up with yellow clothes embellished with mirror work, beautiful picture frames and more. The sunlight falling on the decorations made them bright and contrastive.
"Wow, this place looks so pretty." Elaine whistled and Yuvika nodded.
"Miss Yuvika?" They heard someone calling and found a guy with a camera hanging from his neck, so they were sure that he was a professional cameraman hired for the wedding functions.
"Yes?" Yuvika asked.
"Ma'am, we need some pictures of you. Solo and alongside Mr. Agnihotri too, before the ceremony begins." He said.
"Oh, sure! Uh but where is Rudra?" Yuvika asked, trying to spot him in the crowd.
"Ma'am, he is already there, waiting for you." He said and Yuvika nodded, before following him and waving at her friends who had something to take care of before they joined her during the photoshoot.
"There ma'am!" He pointed to the front and she looked to find a beautiful set up was done for the photoshoot, where Rudraksh and the others were standing.
Rudraksh was wearing a yellow kurta with white churidar pants, very similar with Yuvika's haldi outfit. He had left the top two buttons open, revealing his toned chest. The kurta was fitting to his biceps but it had a loose bodice. When she approached the stage, Rudra gave her a look which seemed quite creepy and weird to her. She stood beside him and leaned closer to him.
