DAKSH AGARWAL
Daksh greeted us with a charismatic smile. "Welcome to the gala. I'm honoured to have you here tonight."
"Thank you, Daksh," Rudraksh replied, his tone polite but guarded. "It's a pleasure to be here."
Daksh's eyes shifted to me, and I felt the full weight of his attention. "Mrs. Agnihotri, it's wonderful to finally meet you," he said, his voice smooth and inviting. "I've heard so much about you."
"Thank you, Mr. Agarwal," I responded, trying to keep my composure. "Please, call me Yuvika."
His smile widened. "Yuvika, then. Please call me Daksh, no need for formalities. Tonight is about enjoying ourselves and supporting a good cause."
His gaze lingered on me for a moment longer before he turned back to Rudraksh. "I hope you both enjoy the evening. If there's anything you need, don't hesitate to let me know."
"We appreciate it," Rudraksh said, his grip on my hand tightening slightly. "We'll see you inside."
With that, Daksh stepped aside, allowing us to enter the grand ballroom. The interior was even more stunning than the entrance. Crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling, casting a warm, golden glow over the room. Elegant decorations and lavish floral arrangements adorned every corner, creating an atmosphere of luxury and elegance.
Rudraksh guided me through the crowd, stopping occasionally to greet acquaintances and exchange pleasantries. As we moved further into the room, I couldn't shake the feeling of Daksh's eyes following us. There was something about him that unsettled me, a sense of hidden intentions beneath his charming facade.
