Rudra sighed and pocketed his hands as he turned to face Yuvika, "So, you were saying something before I left?! What was it?"
"Er- do we really need to discuss that now? Aren't we getting late?" Yuvika asked, smiling nervously.
"Sure, we are Mrs. Agnihotri. But don't you think this matter is quite serious?" He asked with a raised brow as he leisurely strolled towards Yuvika, like a predator stalking its prey.
"Serious?" Yuvika chuckled nervously, "I think you need to loosen up a little. Don't need to take everything so seriously."
"Yeah?" Rudraksh quirked a brow, stepping even closer to his wife, who looked like a scared cat.
"D- dada ji!" Yuvika looked behind Rudra with wide eyes.
Rudraksh's eyes widened and he turned around nervously only to find no one behind him. He looked back at Yuvika but he saw her dashing past him outside the room, with her high heels clanking on the floor.
"Yuvika!" He called but stopped before sighing and following her outside.
Yuvika, who rushed out of her room to escape from her husband, stopped short near the staircase when she saw her whole family down there, most probably waiting for them, the couple of the hour.
Before she could take a step down, she felt an arm being wrapped around her small waist. Yuvika swiftly turned her face to find Rudra standing beside her and looked down at her waist to find his hand resting there, very casually. She again looked at her husband.
Their family down there, near the staircase cheered and hooted for the couple who looked strikingly gorgeous in their matching outfits for the reception party of the evening. Yuvika smiled wide seeing the happiness in the eyes of the people, whom she called family now.
"Let's go!" Rudra leaned closer to her ear and muttered.
Yuvika looked at him sidewise and nodded her head. Removing the arm from her waist, Rudraksh took a hold of her right hand as they both climbed down the stairs. Rudraksh smiled when his mother came to him as soon as they were at the end of the stairs.
"My, my! Look at you two." Shalini gushed, giving them each an air kiss, "You guys are looking marvellous."
"Thanks mom!" Rudra smiled, holding his mother's hands before kissing her on the knuckles, "you look beautiful."
"Thank you, my love." Shalini patted her son's cheek before moving her gaze to her daughter-in-law, "¹The set suits you so well, just like I thought. You're looking really pretty, bete!" Shalini said, mentioning about the sapphire necklace and earrings set that she gifted Yuvika on mooh dikhai.
