The loud, exaggerated clearing of a throat broke the spell. Both of them, Rudraksh and Yuvika, jumped apart, startled, and turned to see Amit standing there with a mischievous grin on his face. He had clearly enjoyed catching them off guard.

"Ahem, am I interrupting something?" Amit teased, raising an eyebrow. But before either Rudra or Yuvika could respond, they noticed that Amit wasn’t alone.

Standing beside him were Aditya, along with Anand (Yuvika's chachu), Chitra (Yuvika's chachi) and Tanya, who all seemed equally amused by the situation. Yuvika's cheeks flushed with embarrassment, whilst Rudra maintained his usual composed expression, though there was a slight hint of annoyance at the interruption.

"Perfect timing, Amit," Rudraksh muttered, though there was no real bite in his tone.

"I see the celebration is already starting," Aditya remarked with a warm smile, trying to ease the awkwardness of the moment.

"Indeed, uncle," Rudraksh replied, shamelessly.

Amit, still grinning, shook his head. "Sure it was." Yuvika turned even more red if possible.

Yuvika shot glares to both the boys and Rudraksh placed a reassuring hand on her back, guiding her toward the rest of the family as they greeted each of them. The moment had passed, but the connection between them lingered, stronger than ever.

“Congratulations, Rudra for securing the deal. I knew you would do it.” Anand said, with a proud smile on his face as he patted Rudraksh' back who gave him a brief smile nodded, looking down, his hands pocketed. One by one everyone congratulated him whilst Tanya moved towards her best friend discreetly.

“Hi, bestie!” Tanya said, bumping her shoulder with Yuvika's, “congratulations for your husband's success.”

Yuvika smiled, grateful, “Thank you, fille.”

As they all moved towards the couches to continue with the evening, the atmosphere was filled with warmth and lighthearted banter, the earlier tension forgotten. But Yuvika knew that the closeness she and Rudra had shared in that brief moment was something she would cherish, even if it had been interrupted. Rudraksh excused himself and went upstairs to freshen up whilst Yuvika served some drinks to everyone.

Moments later, Raghuvendra and Shivraj made their way downstairs, emerging from their rooms. The atmosphere remained relaxed as they joined the group in the living room.

“Aditya, how was the drive over?” Shivraj asked with a smile, clapping him on the back in a friendly manner.

“Smooth as always,” Aditya replied with a grin. “No traffic this time, luckily.”
